Best place ever to find all the stuff you need in a kitchen (and dining room). From the tiny tiny spoon to the giga oven, they have a huge range of things... They have everything! Moreover, the staff has a good expertise in their stuff. A bit expensive, but it's worth it. It's my spot for (wedding) gifts. read more

Cute shop, bad customer service. I had recently moved into the neighborhood and wanted to frequent local shops instead of buying everything online. I had been reading about the Green Egg, and when I saw one in the shop window, I went in. Over the next month, amongst the many products I bought were two Mepal lunch boxes. One had a tight seal, the other leaked pasta sauce over everything. I took the defective one back for an exchange and was told that the product, which is microwave-safe, was only for dry items! Impossible! especially as seeing that there were other models more obviously adapted to sandwiches, etc. I called Mepal directly to confirm and they immediately told me that the product was defective and provided a coupon for a free replacement. So Home of Cooking lost a customer over a €15 piece of plastic. I'll get that Green Egg online. read more

Anyone that knows me knows I love a great cooking store. This spot definitely qualifies as a great cooking store. Home of Cooking reminds me of a Williams Sonoma on steroids, but without the food items. The selection is extensive (several floors of items) - every cooking gadget you could ever imagine is available. Prices are high as expected for a gourmet cooking spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't see much in the way of clearance, but if you are in the market for a high end cooking appliance or gadget to include items for outdoor cooking, this is definitely the place to shop. read more

I ordered a dishwasher BEKO on 17.12.2013 in the shop and I payed the whole amount the same day…read more The salesman confirmed over the phone that the dishwasher was available. I was promised a delivery before Christmas, in 7 days maximum. Two days after Christmas, still waiting for the machine, I called Electropromo and asked what was happening. Thay said the dishwasher would be coming the following day. Still waiting two more days, I was told it would come the next day again. Today, 27.12.2013, I called them and insisted to be told if they were ever going to deliver the dishwasher. I was told that the supplier had few days ago closed for the holidays (they did NOT mention it the previous day for some reason), and the delivery will PROBABLY take place after 6.01.2014!!!!! NO COMMENT! I know Belgium is very famous with the terrible customer service, but these guys have no limits. I would never ever go there again, and today I will try to get reimboursed 469 euros. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! Stay away from them!

I am very demanding when it comes to wine glasses and this store has more styles of wine glasses than all the stores in Paris or my home of Seattle. Let me explain. A wine glass must look fine yet fit in the dishwasher and survive the dishwasher. These glasses from Royal Leerdam in Holland can do this but they only seem to be available at la Vaisselle au Kilo. I can't find them in the US (but when I did they cost more than twice as much,) and I can't find them in Paris, (so much for the common market of the EU.) For selection this store can't be beat and for price they are very good as well.
