I was pretty impressed with this hotel. Everything was clean, the bathrooms, the rooms, the gym. Everything worked fine. The A/C and shower head. I travel a lot! Commonly the HAVC is old and super noisy. The shower heads are usually clogged. Not here. The breakfast I actually enjoyed. Every day there is a new sandwich option. Decent quality. I like breakfast sandwiches. (It's not the healthiest option, but it was good and I enjoyed it.) The GYM! The equipment is new and everything works! The blue tooth option works. I can connect to my Iwatch to the cardio machine. The TV up top works fine. They're rare free weights available. And lots of room to work out. There was a salt water outdoor pool which is really nice. Only issues: the internet was slow. Annoying when I video would freeze. The lighting was very harsh in the hotel room. It was really bright neon lights. Other double edge sword: TV channels. The hotel had over 100! Which was amazing. The channel info was incorrect. So trying to find the program you wanted. It did not corresponded to what was presented. I liked it here and will stay again when I return to the area. read more

Stayed here for a week on a work trip and couldn't have had a better experience. From airport pickup all the way to airport drop off, top notch service all the way around. Special shout out to Paul, Gideon, Kayla, and Trisha! You all were so nice and friendly and made my stay even better. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was a great hang during sunny hours. When I was stuck at DFW due to multiple delays, I needed a place to rest, and I was happy to find this hotel. It was very clean, which is my biggest issue when it comes to a hotel! The shuttle drivers were really helpful, and it was easy to get to and from the airport. The room featured a small kitchen, which I didn't get to use, but I could see how this would be comfortable for a longer stay. There was also an on-site laundry that worked really well, although it was hard to find because there were no signs and it was inside the fitness center. I didn't use the pool or fitness center, but they looked well-maintained. The only real problem with this hotel was how thin the walls were. I needed to go to bed early (think 8pm), and I could clearly hear the people talking in the next room. It wasn't just a loud TV - they were just talking, not even shouting. It was so loud that I could hear them even over the air conditioner fan running and my white noise app on my phone at almost full volume. If all of that was turned off, it was almost as if they were in the room with me. I have never quite experienced a room with that little soundproofing. It was a bummer for a hotel that I got exclusively to sleep in. If I could do half stars, I'd probably do 3.5, but for everything else, I am rounding up. Also, the breakfast on weekends doesn't start until 7am, which feels a bit late for an airport hotel where people often have early flights, but they did offer coffee! read more

Last minute hotel stay due to flights being canceled. They were great! Last minute reservation, shuttle pickup from the airport and the rooms were amazing. Clean, brand new, small kitchen and living room. The beds were comfortable and perfect!! Breakfast in the morning was good and a shuttle back to the airport. We had an incredibly tough travel day. We ended up at this hotel. It was super clean. But The reason it's getting 5 stars is the gentleman at the front desk. We came in at 12:15 at night. American Airlines lost our luggage. We literally had nothing. He made sure we had tooth brushes, deodorant and tried to make us as comfortable and supported as possible with the few hours we were here. It's been a long time since we had a front desk person who seemed genuinely nice. I wish I got his name because we truly appreciated it after a long and quite miserable day. read more

The people were great here. The place was well kept and the little market area is great and well stocked. The rooms are large the only disappointing things were the heater in room never kicked in until 68 and turned off at 70. Which made it chilly in the room because outside weather was 13 degrees. Also there were no washcloths in the room to use. Thought it was weird but I just pulled out my emergency washcloth. Yes I carry an extra one just in case. The shampoo and body wash in the shower is a plus. read more

Overall the property is in very good shape, is well maintained and is a "better" property as far as good better best goes. I had no issues at all except one which is being self-admittedly a little bit overly picky and it's just the corners in my bathroom weren't totally spotless but clean as it could be otherwise and the housekeeping is stellar. My only mention is that it's probably time to deep clean all carpeting or replace it. It's near that point with multiple stains on floor 2 in the halls. read more

We love Home2 Suites. This Hilton hotel is perfect because it is close to the DFW airport. In addition to moderate pricing, you can park your car for a modest daily fee and have the shuttle take you to the airport. Yeah!! The hotel is clean. I love the 24 coffee service in the lobby, the little snack and drink market, and free breakfast. The reception staff was courteous and helpful. I will stay here again. read more

3-Star rating due to unplanned, additional cost for Uber and breakfast. I typically travel a lot for work and prefer to stay at Hilton hotels due to cleanliness and customer service. Positives: Staff was professional! Hotel and room was very clean and nice. Probably the quietest hotel I've stayed at in the past year. Appears to be recently upgraded with new carpet and wall coverings. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice open concept with sitting area and kitchen nook area. Shuttle van reservations made for a guaranteed on time ride to the airport in the morning. Negatives: Was not told until arrival at the airport that the shuttle service stops at 11:30pm, so if you arrive late be prepared to spend $20-40 on a Uber ride. Couldn't cancel and book another hotel because we were past the cancellation cutoff and was stuck with spending the extra money. They need to post this on their website for travelers with late check-in to plan ahead. Breakfast area was one bar height table that set ~14 people. Not enough sitting for the amount of people eating and others that were working and watching the tv. Shuttle van rear brakes were literally grinding metal to metal, so this was definitely a safety concern. read more

It's good for people who are using the hotel on a layover to know that their shuttle van only does one round an hour (so you could wait for a very long time) and stops at 1130pm (so don't show up at 1131 like I did) - I chose this place because I'm a Hilton honor member and it was well priced but after factoring in 2 uber rides at 25 each I could have just stayed at the Hyatt regency for the same price. Such a convenient hotel full of incredible amenities so close to the airport! 5 out of five for sure! If you're traveling during the weekdays they have a shuttle service from the airport as well. It may not run on the weekends unfortunately, but you can save for business trips this would be perfect. When I say amenities I'm not kidding. The complimentary snack selection left in the room was unreal and something I don't think I've ever experienced even in another identical hotel. It honestly saved me as I was staying overnight getting in at 10:00 and needing to get a flight the next day. The idea of trying to find food at that time of night made me just think I would turn in instead and suck it up. But then I went in in the room head not only several types of candy bars, but in my case trail mix and an actual bag of popcorn to pop in the microwave! They even had a Pellegrino as well as a few sodas in the fridge and a couple normal bottles of water. The coffee uses a Keurig with several options left to pick from. The rooms themselves were very clean and seemed recently refreshed. The roller blind over the windows that blocked most of the light was something I wish all hotels would do! And then to top it off the curtain that slid through the middle of the room to block off the bed from the seating area if somebody was staying up was such a neat touch. The kitchen itself with the ability to borrow and range top from downstairs had all the amenities you could want to stay here and actually cook. (Plus apparently they replenish the snacks everyday according to their little sign). Overall amazing staff that was delightful and made a weary delayed flight not seem like such a bad deal after all. I could NOT wait to write this review. We flew into DFW late so we decided to get a hotel room for the night and drive home in the morning. Well, we were not expecting to fall in love with this hotel like we did! We ended up extending and staying a second night. The outside of this hotel is SO cute! When you walk up to the front entrance, there's a cozy area with outdoor seating, a fire pit (with a fire going!) and outdoor lights. The lobby is so colorful and the entire hotel looks brand new! There's a 24 hour coffee and tea bar- score! They offer free breakfast too which seems hard to find these days. The employee at the front desk was super sweet and welcoming. The rooms have everything you need! Kitchenette, couch, desk, mini fridge, microwave, LOTS of storage, and a nice size TV! The bathroom is nice too and has 6 towels instead of the normal 3-4, good quality shampoo and body wash machines in the shower (now I can lather super well instead of worrying about running out of my tiny bottle), makeup wipe, and hooks for your towels! All of these things are really hard to come by in a hotel. Breakfast is included in your stay and is a bit scaled down (I'm assuming due to COVID) but it was still filling. Everything was individually wrapped so you don't have to worry about dirty hands in your food. They offered cereal, yogurt, bagels, fruit, boiled eggs, juice, milk and coffee. The bagels were delicious! They have an on-site laundry facility, pool, gym, and little store to buy drinks and other necessities. They do not have an ATM, just FYI. They offer free parking which is awesome! The absolute BEST part of this hotel is the price! Two nights was less than $200! I don't think I'll ever stay at another hotel that's not a Home2Suites. After having bad luck with hotels on vacation this week, it was so refreshing to find this hotel. You can always count on a nice hotel when staying with Hilton. read more

If you're in Irving you should definitely stay here. The breakfast had a lot of great options including this cute Texas shaped waffle. They sold some snacks and beverages throughout the day. If you aren't driving, the nearest restaurant isn't the best walk but it's doable. The shuttle driver went above and beyond to help me. Stayed 3 weeks total 2 different extended stays. It's a decent hotel Staff is Great! Ms. Tricia was always so helpful and happy and Vincent and April were just as great they made the stay comfortable and were accommodating. My only complaint is the bed, I even brought my own pillow topper and it helped slightly. Staff switched out my bed the first time I complained and tried but they really need to get comfortable beds especially since people are usually staying for an extended stay. Breakfast was okay wished they had a bit more of variety instead of the standard rotation and a bit more flavor. Pool was great and the pet area was nice with plenty of puppy bags. I heard about Home 2 Suites by Hilton, brand has been around several years now but this location is pretty new, just about a year old. As a frequent Hilton hhonors member, I thought I would try once to see what it is like. Upon check in, they had a bottle of water and choice of snack for a diamond member. Similar to Hampton Inn. Lobby is very clean and simple, reminded of me European budget hotels. Nice size gym is available 24/7 with a room key. Free breakfast is always nice. All the rooms is suites. Small shower, minimal bathroom amenity, they said "environmentally friendly". Nice size kitchen with full size fridge, stove, ceramic dishes, ideal for long-term travelers. No closet with a door. Closet has curtains. A divider between living area and beds also has curtains. It doesn't really separate bed area and living area. Just one big room. Front desk staff was very friendly. Good internet speed. Ample of electric outlets, very clean. It was just so simple, I would have enjoyed more amenity for my comfort. No complains for the price I paid per night, yet again I would have liked more traditional hotel amenity but those who doesn't need, this hotel is perfect. read more

My company booked the conference room at this hotel and when my people showed up for the event, the lady at the front desk at 6pm on 6/12/2024 was SOOOOOOO incredibly nasty to not only my guests but to me as well when I called. She had the worst attitude, was talking about my guests right in front of them while on the phone with me, raising her voice, argumentative, not trying to help me whatsoever ever and then had the audacity to hang up in my face. I can't even believe the hotel would have someone like this as the face of their hotel. I don't even know why people like this choose a job in customer service when they're so nasty to people for literally no reason. I wasn't rude to her and was just trying to figure out a small misunderstanding. We definitely won't be back if they have people like that working for them and treating their guests so bad for absolutely no reason. read more

We're from Oklahoma and had a super early flight out of DFW so we decided to book a room at the Home2 suites for a night. We arrived around 3PM and Shaista checked us in. The room is nice, shower has plenty of hot water and the hotel looks well kept up and clean. However, Shaista has been AMAZING. I realized shortly after arriving that I had managed to pack our kids toothbrushes, but both my husband and I forgot to grab our own. Not only did she get us two, but she made sure we were stocked up on toothpaste and mouthwash for a couple of days of our trip. Also when we arrived back from grabbing dinner she greeted me by name, a major plus, and told me to check my email for my Hilton rewards program information as she had just sent in the information card I had filled out. Her service alone during this small visit has us already thinking of using this Home2 for other trips we fly out of DFW. read more

This morning I had to wait over 1 hour for a shuttle. The worst shuttle driver is the morning guy. The difference night and day was. The night shuttle driver deserves 5 stars but is overshadowed by the crazy late morning shuttle driver who won't stop yapping. The room was so cold even when I turn on heat there was a certain place that the room keep blowing in cold air. Terrible but too bad I still have one night to go. I want my money back. read more

I came to stay at home2 suites for a business trip for the past three weeks. I can only express my absolute satisfaction with this location. Everyone working here is dedicated to your comfort and they truly work to make sure you have everything you need. Obviously staying away from home for three weeks is tough but home2 suites does everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. The front desk staff always welcomes you with a smile and a friendly greeting. The housekeeping staff always goes above and beyond in cleaning your room, kitchen and bathroom so you can relax and be at peace after a long day in the office. The breakfast is always fully stocked and quite delicious with many options to choose from. Their shuttle service is on point and will take you anywhere you need to go (within 5 miles). After my three weeks was up the staff gave me a gift and a lovely card. They had already given me a gift after week one and a laundry detergent and dryer sheets after they realized I needed to do laundry. These small touches as well as the outstanding service has led me to decide I will always stay here anytime I am in town for business. read more

I relocated to Irving and stayed here for weeks while looking for a new home. I wish I could make here my apartment in the long term! Reception and house keeping staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; they deliver my Amazon package to my room, give me warm greetings every morning and evening; and room is cleaned nicely. I really love the studio style that I have a small kitchen area, a sleeper sofa and a decent TV. Highly recommend to everyone. read more

I will never stay or support this hotel chain and the Hilton better reconsider their policy when it comes to our children currently serving in the Military, for what this hotel did to my son on Thursday is WRONG and it is unacceptable. On Thursday my son who is currently active in the Airforce arrived in DAL from Sacramento, on his way to Mildenhall England to serve there. He has a layover in Dallas and will fly out Friday afternoon, he had a reservation for one night, this reservation was set up while my son was finishing tech school for the Airforce a month ago. When my son arrived in DAL and called the hotel for the shuttle to pick him up, they told him he is underage and will not rent him a room. WTF!!!! My son is 19 serving our country and you can't rent him a room for a night. I will NEVER understand why didn't you let him know that when he made the reservation a month ago that he is underage and even though the Government tell him to stop at Dallas on his way out, your policy will NOT allow him to rent the room because he is only 19...This is so wrong may be your hotel should notify the Military not to send our underage sons and daughters over to your hotel because your policy will not allow them to stay. I called your hotel that evening, and talked to the girl at the front desk, and begged her to make an exception because my son is 19 and he is being deployed to England and he need the room, but because no one told him on the day he made the reservation a month ago that your policy is 21 to rent, he is already at the DAL , and her answer, "Sorry but NO", I asked to speak to the manager and the manager wasn't available. I can't believe that your hotel was willing to let my son sleep at the airport on his way out of our country to answer the call to serve. But I am thankful that the Sheraton at 400 North Olive St, rented a room to my son, that he paid for with his own credit card. That the Sheraton whose member of the Marriott Family, answered my call and house my son that night. Home2Suites under the Hilton Family, if this is your policy for our under 21 servicemen than I will never support this hotel chains and I am letting everyone knows here, this is how this hotel treat our children in the service. read more

Fantastic hotel! Shuttle to/from airport was fast and both drivers were friendly. Back to the airport I got a ride in a hotel branded car! Just me! Felt like my own personal free uber. Check in staff were friendly and went out of their way for everyone. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh! The room was clean and modern. They even had a fire pit on the night before outside. (Which was perfect as it was an unusually chilly night for Dallas in October) I would certainly return when I'm back in Dallas. read more

Upon arrival Jeremy was very accommodating, full of info about the area, he recommended a wonderful Brazilian Steakhouse which was great. I got checked in, went to my room, upon arrival to my room I saw a personal hand written note which was awesome, the person who wrote the note was Katherine or Katelin, it really helped because I just came from a funeral. At the end of my stay a wonderful staffer name Bob brought me to the airport on time which was great! I must say that I was pleasantly surprised in a big way by this hotel. I have left the Hilton brand several years ago but stayed at this hotel for a meeting that was arranged for us. In addition to having the meeting here, I also spent 2 nights here. It was clean beyond words and had very nice accommodations. The older gentleman who drove the shuttle bus was a nice as he could be and I enjoyed talking with him. Lisa, the banquet manage was awesome! Super friendly and very accommodating. My one and only complaint was that they didn't have a bar here. But if you are a business traveler looking for a clean, modern place to stay...look no further!! read more
