Established in 1983.

Homeguard was established by Wayne Sudsbury, President and Bill Eves, Vice President. It is an independent brokerage firm for borrowers, financial institutions and private investors. The company's associates serve clients across Canada but focus on the GTA area, north to North Bay, east to Lindsay and Bancroft, Belleville Areas, west to London, Kitchener! Homeguard offers residential, rural, recreational, commercial and industrial first and second mortgages.

Meet the Business Owner: Wayne S.

Wayne Sudsbury is no stranger to the mortgage industry, having spent 30 years as a Mortgage Broker. Wayne received IMBA's Professionalism Award which was presented to the Mortgage Broker or Agent who constantly demonstrates a superior level of ethical conduct in his or her business practices. Wayne holds both CPMB and AMP designations from IMBA and CAAMP. He was President of the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association for the 2006 term and sat on the IMBA Board of Directors for over 7 years. Wayne currently sits on the Verico National Advisory Council (NAC). Passionate about the mortgage industry and its possibilities, Wayne specializes in mortgage financing for self-employed and "stated income applicants". He takes great pride personalizing his clients' financing to meet their needs. It is always special when former clients refer their children for their mortgage needs.
