When I go out of town all I have to do is email the dates I need house visits and I return home to a clear invoice, notes about how it went, and a happy dog. One note even described a change in my dog's drinking behavior and encouraged me to monitor and check in with the vet if necessary. My only suggestion would be to have dog walkers check in once with owners through text, email or phone when caring for pets for an extended period, such as when owners are out of town.
