If Pine Dungeon had a pound for every giggling/curious type who have checked out this Whitchurch Road store for purely intrigued reasons, they probably wouldn't need to actually flog any furniture. Unsurprisingly, it's no more a dank torture pit than your average DFS. The former half of that moniker comfortably wins out, selling wall-to-wall pine from hulking dressers with price tags to match right down to cute bedside cabinets and various wooden fixtures and fittings. The staff are nice enough and you can park right outside for ease of loading up your pine purchases. Although you won't find too many bargains of a lifetime: the middling prices are about as close as Pine Dungeon comes to housing anything horrifying.

The sales people in this store can be a little pushy and can leave you feeling a bit stressed. with this store you have to pay for delivery and its not always quoted with the price of the furniture so its worth checking on that.

The lady at the changing rooms was so sweet and give you a grade A service, it almost made me feel little guilty I was here to muck around. However what i do go in for quite often is the food. M&S advertisements could be seen as hyperbolic in how salacious they are shot. I disagree, the food is very good quality and have always had great dinners from here. Another misconception is that the food here is expensive, again I disagree sir. There are always some greet 3 for 2 deals on food and if I'm feeling lazy I can spend about a fiver for a ready made meal, a tasty ready made food I may add. I've also got a couple of presents from here and bought a lovely rose for my mum to plant for Mother day, all for a price of £6.99 And finally the most important thing, the booze. There is a great selection of white/red\rose wine and champagne. Again starting at reasonable price to prices that do justify the M&S common conception. Oh and nearly forgot, M&S is one of the very few places that will do custom celebration cakes in the city. Give it atleast a week before the event though.

I don't often buy clothes here but I have noticed they are a lot better than they used to be and much more reasonable that I expected. The gift section is always fantastic, especially at christmas and its just so nice to have somewhere in the city to pick up some lovely food and a bottle of wine to enjoy when you get home.

Alison the team leader made sure my items were ready for me and got Thomas to carry my purchases to my car and help put my car seats down. Caroline also carried a large box for me.
