Yes, a nice store and very welcoming to shop in - from a non-shopper-guy. I generally do not like places with "knick-knacks" and decorations for rooms I don't have. But the new HomeSense store is wide open, airy and welcoming. Housed in the old HR Gregg building near Trader Joes it has been completely redone with bright lighting and more windows in the front. I dreaded going in there because HR Gregg was so depressing to visit. But they did this right. The cashiers are on the right - which is different than most stores today. The main takeaway form this place is they have a huge selection of: LAMPS MIRRORS - Huge mirrors! Floor to ceiling framed mirrors - every type you would ever need. Don't shop these aisles if you don't want to look at yourself. CARPETS - RUGS COUCHES, dressers and chairs. Even headboards. And a generous collection of other household goods. The prices on some of the kitchen and bar items is so cheap, I don't want to tell you about them so there will be more for me! I got an amazing price on two different things, more than $20 less than Amazon offers! It's like a Home Goods on steroids or a mini-iKea. The parking used to be so easy on that side of the parking lot by Trader Joes, but now it's quite busy! Worth a visit when you're nearby.

Please ask an associate to hold large merch upfront; 0 sense in taking us all out, I narrowly escaped! But U win a bench!

Great addition to Annapolis Plaza! I'm overjoyed that they've opened and expanded the brand offerings to anchor this side of the plaza, it makes sense! Fret not, for those unaware, Home sense is not the competition to HGoods they are part of TJX holdings, so if anything be ready for clearance and overflow- in other words it's a plus! Home Sense is the mothership, well stocked with everything from rugs, to chandeliers, to pillows, to decorative items, frames, mirrors, holiday tchotchke's, organizational and kitchen goods. It was well staffed on opening day and "Grip" (an associate from the Home goods in Waugh Chapel,) was wonderful helping me with my purchases, as always! ( I am a regular at all the locations--Waugh Chapel, as well as the Annapolis HG, so needless to say I know the stores like I'm the buyer. LOL) The skinny: I combed the entire store, two days in a row, and it does have some repeat items that are also at Home goods, and so much more; however, by way of furniture (headboards, screens, chairs, credenzas, books, decorative) so it's worth it to go to both- depending on your needs. While spacious, the only gripe I had is the rows can be tight in the middle kitchen sections, and by farmhouse, office, bath making it hard to pass comfortably--perhaps they'll widen them to accommodate customers to navigate without a hitch. They have the space to do it, so fingers crossed. Its grand opening was just this week, so people are out in droves and the parking a challenge. Be advised: don't take any chances parking by the adjacent bank, they tow... otherwise; shop till you drop, and pick up your big ticket purchases out front, by the tent. Can't help but wondering if HG will house most of their clearance... we shall see!

HomeSense, where you can come to get some HomeThangs. And yes, there is definitely an abundance of things to purchase. Let's start off with the good. It's designed like a warehouse with wide aisles that your cart can easily maneuver without accidentally knocking things over. This is a plus. Particularly in the glassware aisle because I'm clumsy. The selection of items is decent. In comparison to HomeGoods a few doors down, you are more likely to find more big pieces of furniture here. It's a good place to find accent chairs, dining room chairs, and desk chairs. Additionally, there are a lot of rugs as some other posters have mentioned. I don't see what the big hoopla was about the cash register location. You have eyes, look and move toward it. It's still maneuverable with wide lanes and lined with small items to steal more of your money. Now onto the less than stellar. Price points here don't seem like much of a discount particularly when lighting fixtures are still a good grand even with missing bulbs and cracks. Additionally, if you're looking for organization and storage items or bed linens, none shall come to pass here. Overall: a good place to take a look in if you're shopping for a bargain on chairs or a sofa. For other household decorative items, stick to HomeGoods.

This place is awesome! My fiancée loves the selection of home items and alleges that the prices are fair. Why am I such a fan of HomeSense?? Easy, because of all the comfy chairs! There were numerous offerings to sit on whilst my fiancée shopped. These wonderful chairs offered me support and comfort and a sound place to check my fantasy football. To conclude, very chill spot while your SO shops.

After reading the reviews and of course my best friend Rae M, wrote one of them, I had to take a stroll through the place! I am about to move and am looking for some chic items to decorate my new place! Don't get me wrong,HomeGood is my ish, but you really have to have time to go there to look for all the deals! HomeSense, is awesome! From entry I was blown away! I Iove how things are color coded and neatly organized! I went in for a floral vase and found the perfect one for s great price! The prices are great! HomeGoods great! I will be going back to pick up some more goodies once I'm settled! I exercised so much restraint in that store that I know I'll be back! If I don't find the goodies i saw on my visit, I know there will be more goodies!

Wow , this store is affiliated with Home goods. They have a lot more furniture and yard statues, bird houses, outside plates and accessories. We went to the one in Annapolis. Really nice . Lots of silk flower arrangements, big and small . Neat place check it out.

    Parvizian Rugs - fringe disintegrating

We bought two rugs from Mr. Parvizian last May. We were away for the summer, and when we came home…read morein the fall, we set them up for the first time. They looked beautiful and were perfect in our living and dining rooms. But it didn't take long for our puppy to spit up (twice!) on the beautiful new living room rug. I tried to deal with the stains myself, thinking since they were just clear "water," not actual vomit, it would be easy to blot them out. Silly me. (I later learned that puppy spit-up has acid bile in it, which eats away at wool if not promptly and properly treated.) The stains were still there the next day, so I turned to the internet and, alas, followed the instructions from several of my go-to reliable sourced sites for such issues--I mean places like Consumer Reports and Good Housekeeping, not just random DIY posters. Anyway, after applying a paste of baking soda and Dawn (benign, right? wrong, wrong, wrong!), things went from bad to worse. The stains were now huge and they were BROWN. In short, my beautiful blue and white rug was pretty well ruined. In despair, I did what I should have done in the first place--I called Mr. Parvizian. I explained what had happened, and he came out to the house after work a couple of nights later to have a look at the rug. Even though this was clearly user error (he kept scratching his head at "baking soda") he and his helper simply loaded the rug up and took it away, telling me he would see what he could do. A few days later, he called to say the rug was ready, cautioning us that it was "better," but not perfect. My husband and I drove to the shop to see what, if any, improvement had been made. The rug was laid out on the shop floor, waiting for our inspection when we arrived. It looked amazing! The spots had not only disappeared, but the entire carpet had been cleaned, and the stains were undetectable! So this sad story with the happy ending has a few takeways: -Do not, under any circumstances, try to clean your own rug if you don't know what you're doing, no matter what the internet tells you!! Baking soda is not an appropriate solvent for cleaning wool rugs! Puppy spit-up is very damaging to wool! -Go to Parvizian Rugs, not only for purchasing a beautiful, well-priced rug, but for the amazing and caring service. It was truly above and beyond, because this whole sorry episode was my fault--and really, Mr. P. was not obligated to do anything for me in the situation. He took it upon himself to take responsibility and to remedy this because he wanted a happy customer. That's pretty exceptional in this day and age. Thank you, Mr. P!

I also smelled bleach which Mr. Parvizian denies using for fringe cleaning. The next clue was the condescending way Mr. Parvizian treated me when I brought my machine-made rug into the establishment to be cleaned. He told me my rug was not worth the price of cleaning. About a month after cleaning the fringe started to disintegrate. The response from Mr. Parvizian was that machine-made rugs have synthetic fringe and they are not responsible. The fringe is cotton, we had it replaced 12 years ago after a vacuum cleaner mishap. Then he stated that the rug was stained, which it was not, we do not have animals and our children have been out of the house for over 20 years. The last communication was that I signed the contract that in a roundabout way says they are not responsible for any damage to rugs being cleaned.

Do not trust them with your valuable rugs. If you look at my other reviews, you'll notice I very rarely give a one or even two star review. We have been trying to get our rug back for a whole month (starting two weeks after the day it should have been done) and for the past week the storefront has been closed with no warning or way to contact them. They have not responded to emails or phone messages. We are now moving across the country without our rug because they are unable to return it to us. At this point we'll probably have to seek legal action just to get our property returned. Look up their MD business filing, read the common thread of similar bad reviews. These people will not provide you the service that they promised. We brought them our ring on 6/1/23 they said it would be done 6/15. They evade the phone and when you go in person (if they are even there) they say their machine just got fixed or some other excuse. Update 2: the company finally contacted me and said they would ship my rug. I will update my review once I have received it and evaluated its condition. Would not recommend this place. Brought in my rug over a month ago and was told 14 days. Still have not received it. Even paid in full because they said they would deliver it last week. I've attempted to contact them multiple times. When I went in person they gave me the same excuse that they gave a previous reviewer. The equipment was down for maintenance. For $500 for 1 rug, I expect better service.
