This is an adorable store, especially for housewarming gifts and such. However, I recently had a distasteful experience here which lead me to leave this review. I was looking at earrings and very interested in purchasing a pair until the owner was very rude when she asked me to give her the earring rack and that "she would handle it" and for me not to touch the earrings. There were loose earrings on the shelf, which I offered to hand her to help clean them up, and she was snippy and told me very short "no, leave them there." Mind you, these were only ~$25-$75 earrings. I felt like I was a 6 year old girl being told not to touch anything in a store. Safe to say, I did not purchase the earrings and will find them elsewhere. read more

I am all about supporting small businesses, but the business needs to be welcoming and employees helpful to customers. I was in back to back 2 weeks in a row. The store is small and has beautiful things. Both times I came in and it was empty. I wanted to look and potentially buy something. However, when asking what the price was the woman behind the desk was annoyed by my question. Then when asking for clarification, it was the same. I eventually purchased something against my better judgement and needed an exchange. It was never used, in original bag, etc. When I entered she was already not having the fact that I made a mistake but then agreed. While finding a replacement she asked her employee to do something. When confused, she couldn't be bothered to get up or clarify in a nice tone. While everything in the store is nice it's not unique so I don't have to buy it there. Attitude is everything and I don't need to give this business money when I can get it somewhere else and feel like a valued customer. read more
