We ordered a front entry door on Nov 24th for about $6135. Unfortunately we had to wait til February 4th to have it installed. We were told that the wait is due to the process of the door being made. We explained before they started that we wanted to keep the baseboard of the front door but it wasn't kept. However, the company did reimburse us for $200 for the price of the board & installation. Once we had it installed we thought we were ready to go! However, quickly we noticed within a few days that the door was not closing properly. The handle would not reset when it closed and then within a few weeks it was not working at all. I immediately contacted them on March 7th. I explained the situation and was told to take pictures as requested by Chanel (warranty correspondent). I was told that they had to order new parts from Emtec and it would take a couple of weeks. We had agreed to set it up on Monday April 6th. The service man who arrived came over and immediately noticed that the parts needed to be ordered and the correct part were not ordered. However, I was told that the door should be working. Wow, that was far from the truth because immediately the door stopped working the next day. So we're back to square 1. Our door doesn't close because the handle on the door doesn't work. In the meantime, the only thing that worked and kept the front door closed was the security latch. If not the door would be wide open. I spoke to Chanel again, she said we had to order the part again. Apparently it was not ordered last week. In the meantime, we're paying for our door about $500 each month since February and yet our front door doesn't work. If you decide to work with this company please take the amount of time and the cost into consideration. read more

I am so grateful I came across Hometime for my recent project. Didn't have a guy yet. Didn't know anyone who had a guy. Did a google search and saw their stellar reviews and they were local here in Glendora. They crushed it. From start to finish and every touch point along the way. We replaced a couple balcony French doors and a rotted patio door. Austin didn't push the most expensive option. He actually talked me into a cheaper sliding door option for the balcony doors (with a French rail so it doesn't look like a sliding door) because it was dead on to what I functionally wanted out of the doors (more of a view + max ventilation). The installation teams were equally impressive. Quality work, professional demeanor and white glove care all around. Price is very very reasonable too (very important!!). Bottom basement clearance bin pricing? No. But incredible value for the quality. And we all know the headache and cut corners that come with clearance bin shopping. Long story short, I got a guy now. We'll eventually replace the rest of the doors/windows in the house. Glad I know who'll be doing it, just need to find time in my schedule to figure out the "when". This is my second home that I trusted to Hometime for replacing all the windows. They arrived right on time as indicated on the reminder text. No issues during install except a broken piece inside a curtain shade (made by 3rd party) that they will replace. Windows are beautiful, so clean and clear it makes the world look more beautiful. It's like taking off a pair of fuzzy, dirty glasses, lens, and getting Lasik eye surgery. Every window is neat and pristine at the finish. The Installers Danny, Vincent & Joe were super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Danny made sure he had the correct curtains per window by triple checking with me throughout the process They made me feel very comfortable as the only person in my house as they all worked. They moved any items out of their way and cleaned up after themselves. Most of the mess comes from the demolition portion. Very little clean up left for me. These guys know what they are doing. From the initial consultation all the way to the installers, these people are very knowledgeable and never pushy. They gave me my space and time to do my homework and I have decided to work with them. Mainly because they make their windows here, couple freeway exits away from my home. They have great protection programs and coverage and customer service is amazing. We even went to their showroom to see things up close and felt even better we made the decision to go with them. They were patient with my questions, took the time to explain everything to me. We didn't really wait for 5 weeks for the windows to be made, they got it done on time and not a day late. Our house is 30 years old, even though it was well kept, it has seen better days. They were very careful with the house, and the installation went smoothly. The workmanship is impeccable. Instead of hiring an installation company and they have to purchase windows from another window manufacturer, it makes so much more sense to go to someone we makes it and installs it. We got a new sliding glass door with an in-glass dog door from Hometime Windows & Doors. We had a wonderful consultation with Austin, who went over all our options for our townhouse. The info packet he compiled had everything we needed for the vendor approval process our HOA requires for all work. On the day of the install, Frank and Joe got everything installed very quickly.
