I had a very bad experience with this provider regarding a billing issue. While I was at an appt…read morefor cleaning, I asked the hygienist if I could ask the doctor one question about whether I would be a candidate for invisiline braces, but prefaced it by saying I don't need to ask if it would mean I would incur a cost for an exam, which I wasn't scheduled for that day and didn't need. The hygienist asked the receptionist who acted like she understood the question but she didn't give any response to the question. After my cleaning the receptionist guided me to meet with the doctor. I asked my question which didn't involve ANY exam or even looking in my mouth. Later I received a bill for my cleaning and I was charged an additional $150 for an exam. When I called the office manager she was very rude and said ANY meeting with the doctor constitutes an appt and I would have to pay or it would go to collections. She didn't care whatsoever that her receptionist made a mistake---there was zero customer service. Apparently it didn't matter that I asked two of her employees, one of whom, the hygienist, I had no fault with--she asked if I could ask the question without having to have an appt and be charged. But the receptionist said nothing and apparently had no culpable responsibility here and the manager was extremely rude and inflexible. I will never go back here. I always try for early morning appointments and when I walk in, even though I'm looking at serious work, I get an immediate sense of welcome and "don't worry, we've got this." Dr. Fluegge figured out how to mix professionalism and high standards (check out the equipment!) with a staff group you can instantly trust. Yep, it feels like family there and I'm not kidding when I say it wouldn't be a bad place to just sit. I had delayed dental work during the worst of COVID and I worried about what to do. Although very apologetic and I was understanding because things do happen I waited 25 minutes. She stated she had been working on the client before me since 11:00 am and my appointment was at 2:00. Julie was very professional but did not use 40 minutes to do a complete facial and I left without feeling like she did a thorough job requiring me to come back to finish and pay another $350 dollars. I told her I couldn't afford that and that I was quoted what I paid that day including follow ups. I made an appointment for a follow up but called back the next day for clarification. I cancelled my appointment not able to talk to Julie and I made it clear that they needed to quote a price accurately and make it very clear to new clients what the price would actually be. I was able to talk to a real person who answered my questions. I came in and discovered that it's a new office person. Yay for that too!! She was great! She refilled my antiviral bottle and processed my payment quickly and efficiently. She was competent and knowledgeable. What a difference!! I'm really happy to see that they listened to constructive feedback and addressed the issues they were having that I mentioned in my last review. They leveled up! The entire experience almost felt like I was at a different office...in a good way. I can now highly recommend without reservation.
