When I arrived, the parking lot was full and I had a crying newborn in the backseat so I called, and they immediately brought everything out and loaded it right into my trunk. Every item was perfectly clean and folded, and that level of service truly lifted such a weight off my shoulders. So I called the owner to let him know. I came right away. BUT he tries to tell me I didn't put enough quarters in. He took the quarters out went to the bank and counted them. He told me I only put in 0.50. I told him NO. He put part of my money and I had to do the rest. But while he was still standing the machine continued to take my money but didn't work. He began to speak in his native tongue and got upset. I told him this is why you have a 1 rating. I had $25.00 dollars in quarters why would I cheat you. Again he spoke in his native tongue. He turn and said "you have I good day" and I replied "you to). People of color, we don't have to cheat or steal to do what we need to do. That's 2 bucks a load. I stopped in at the other laundromat up the street and it was $2.75 to wash and a dollar to dry: almost twice as expensive per load. They also have free wi-fi, although I didn't end up using it because I spent the whole time talking to the owner, who was in the process of refinishing the floors. Super nice people here, I'll go here before the other guys any day.
