The "blew" in the straw and seeds literally the day before escrow closed. They rototilled but left all of the unearthed rocks, tree parts, and garbage in the dirt. It appears they did no real prep before they blew it in. Our neighbors told us they were here for barely over an hour, and the job looks like it. The builder has been promising a resolution for 2 1/2 months, but Scott has yet to contact us. Not sure who failed us, but the attached pictures show the story.

She prides herself in her lawn and her beautiful flower garden that she works in daily. My sister and I are so proud of her to be able to live alone, take care of herself, and although a cancer survivor, to now be able to work in her yard again. First, the good news: We encouraged her not to mow her own lawn anymore, and in Spring of 2021 she hired Scott Lawn & Landscape, Inc., in Franklin, KY. That was fine. Now, for the not so good news: She has not been happy for years about the many weeds in her yard and after hiring Scott Lawn & Landscape Inc. in early 2021 she discussed with the owner, what might be done to eliminate them. She was told that she had to wait until August to kill the grass, by spraying it twice, then aerating, then reseeding. She knows it was raining when he came to spray once. Although she is on a limited income, she paid him in full, $2200 in 2021, when he began the process. The problem began in 2022, as the grass started to grow so did more weeds than she has ever had before! Mom didn't call the owner, because she thought that he would stop to take a look since he does several in her neighborhood. She wanted to ask him why she had so many more weeds since he sprayed to kill everything. In late March, she finally called him. During her call, the owner was trying to tell her that he wasn't done, and would still have to come back a few times to complete what he had started. She didn't care what chemicals, seed, etc. cost, she just did not want to see any weeds. During the call, she was so frustrated and disappointed, that she told him not to come back. At that point, she called me crying. Unfortunately, I live 900 miles away and didn't know what to do. So, I called him to discuss the weed problem. As a business woman, I listened intently to him to see what he had to say. Then I explained why she was so upset. When I inquired as to how there could be so many weeds, after he sprayed to kill everything, he responded, "well, I don't spray lawns anymore." That made me wonder if he might possibly have had other complaints. He also assured me he was not finished and would be back to complete the job. He said that he and his wife would go to Mom's house and talk to her and explain the next steps, however, I asked him to wait until the next week, to give me time to talk to her. This was the end of March. Now, over 7 weeks later, I have just spent a week at her house. Yes, she certainly has more weeds than grass! There are also some bare spots with no grass, but lots of grass in the flower beds! He still has not come by her house, called, or completed the job he was paid to do. Does this sound like good customer service to you? He should at least give her a refund for the work not completed, rather than ignoring the problem and doing nothing. She is on a fixed income, and feels as if she wasted her money. While there, we hired Tru-Green to take care of the weeds. It looks better already. He seems to pride himself on his work, but if a job is not completed, and your customer service is lacking, how can a business get rave reviews? The only reason I give him 1 star is that 0 stars was not available.
