We enjoyed our time at the small reservoir just outside of Park River, ND. Seven bucks for day use of picnic facilities, a swim beach area, and a few walking trails. There is also camping here, kayak rentals, and a few small fishing piers. In the summer, there are lots of perch to be caught, a few small walleye, and always an elusive giant splash when you're not looking, betraying a big Northern. Winter ice fishing here can also be fun. A clean and quiet little lake park in a clean and quiet little river town. Decidedly NoDak. read more
