Eagles Tribute band, need I say more? I wish they would've played Lyin' Eyes but other than that they were great!

Apple & Walnut Salad. Yummy dressing. So filling. I was determined to finish this plate full.

Great lunch time visit at Hon-Dah Casino & Resort. Walked the casino floor, so many gaming options. Visited the resort gift shop. Some walking before our lunch in the restaurant. Patience is key when waiting for service. Staff are pleasant & the food is delicious.

I really like Hondah Casino. It's one of my favorite casinos. The employees and service are great and the atmosphere is cool. The food and service at the restaurant is also great. I definitely recommend this casino.

Everything from the staff at check-in, maintenance staff we encountered on the grounds, the facilities etc. all exceeded expectations. There are 3 Jacuzzis on site, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here. There is one at the back of the complex, which is covered and is the LARGEST hot tub we have ever been in. Everything was well kept, manicured, clean and well thought out. The room we stayed in was the studio with Murphy bed. At first I was skeptical when my Husband booked it however it was SPACIOUS for a studio and the layout allows a ton of natural light, they even leave a "welcome" basket, which was a great touch! Every single room here will have a view of the woods, so you won't ever be disappointed! The only downside I can see is that there is no A/C, and while it is the Mountains, it still gets hot in the summer. I would not stay here during the Summer when temps reach almost 100.

The toilets barely work, it takes at least three tries to get it to flush. Not to mention, the bugs crawling around in my bed?! This place is disgusting. If you need anymore convincing of how terrible it is here, there are so many hornets flying around the pool. That probably doesn't have anything to do with the hotel itself, but nevertheless, it made my experience here even worse. It's leading me to believe that theres a nest near the hotel, which they should definitely take care of. This trip has been very disappointing for us. We stayed at this hotel a couple years back, and it wasn't NEARLY this bad. This place has definitely gone severely downhill, which is very sad considering how beautiful Pinetop is. Maybe its better in the winter, but I'll never find out because I'm never coming back here.

Before our arrival, I called on Tuesday and spoke with Erika, who was incredibly kind and understanding. I explained that we were traveling to town for the funeral of a childhood friend. When we checked in, I explained the situation again to the front desk associate, who was also very courteous. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, and everything started off wonderfully. We paid for a late checkout. Although it was a holiday weekend and the hotel could only extend it until 2pm instead of the usual 3pm., that was completely understandable and not an issue. I again explained that I would be attending funeral services about 45 minutes away in Cedar Creek, where I would have little to no cell service. My husband would remain at the hotel with our two young children, a 3-year-old and our 4-month-old baby--until I returned so we could leave together. I arrived back at the hotel at approximately 2:10pm and immediately went to the front desk. I explained that I had just returned from the funeral and only needed five minutes to change out of my dress into comfortable clothes before my family and I got on the road. The front desk associate and, I believe, the manager assured me that was fine that they will let housekeeping know. When I got to the room, I discovered that at 2:05 p.m.--just five minutes after our late checkout time--a staff member had already called the room, and my husband and our two small children had been asked to leave. They were standing outside the hotel with all of our luggage, our toddler, and our infant, waiting for me. That was incredibly upsetting. The hotel staff knew exactly why we were there. They knew we had paid for a late checkout. They knew I was attending a funeral and that I was returning as quickly as I could. Yet there was absolutely no grace, compassion, or consideration shown to my family. Five minutes after checkout, despite knowing the circumstances, my husband and children were already being ushered out of the room. That level of disregard was disappointing and unnecessary. To make matters worse, when I asked if I could quickly use a restroom to change, I was told there wasn't one available in the lobby. I was then sent back to the room we had just vacated, where three housekeepers were already cleaning it. It was a standard room with two queen beds--not a large suite--and I only needed a few minutes to change clothes before leaving. I've worked in hospitality myself and hold a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, so I understand the importance of turning rooms over quickly, especially during a full holiday weekend. What I don't understand is the complete lack of empathy and basic courtesy shown to my family during an already difficult day. It's unfortunate that an otherwise wonderful stay was overshadowed by how we were treated at the very end. A few minutes of patience and compassion would have made all the difference. Instead, my lasting memory is of my struggling husband, with our frazzled toddler, and our sobbing four month old infant - standing disheveled against the wall outside with all of our belongings. IMMEDIATELY, after I spoke with front desk; upon returning from a funeral. The contradiction of hospitality in those moments was unnecessary, and left a very sour ending to an already terrible and emotional morning. I wasted time and energy being sent back to do exactly what was agreed upon, in a far more uncomfortable way. All I needed in that moment as a grieving and post partum mother was: a small crumb of peace and compassion. Yet, we were met with disregard. I'm absolutely furious. I'm patiently waiting on your response, looking forward to hearing back from you promptly.

We found PVC at the Roundhouse Resort through Hotels.com, which had great reviews. We chose this place because of the amenities they had, given we had our 4 year old with us too! What caught my eye before purchasing was the mini golf and chess game provided to guests. I thought this would be great for my 4 year old to have something to do! Check in was easy, especially given we had reservations prior. Keep in mind there is a $200 deposit/hold when you arrive and a nightly fee of $14. The staff were very friendly and sweet! From the time we arrived to the time we checked out, they were always so helpful! Couldn't ask for better customer service! We were assigned to cabin 5, the deluxe. We were amazed by the cleanliness and the size of our cabin! It felt like a home! The cabin had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and kitchen. The inside was very modern, freshly painted, and decorated so nicely! The patio was perfect, which also had a bbq grill and seating! It was so nice enjoying the weather from the patio! My fave part of this stay, which is most important, were the beds! They were sooooo comfortable and so clean and the pillows felt like we were like lying on a little piece of heaven! We all slept so good the nights we stayed! Unfortunately, we didn't get to try out the amenities as I hoped because we spent a lot of our time at the lakes and site seeing. Although, our cabin was right in front of the mini golf, which was nice. We got to see other guests play from time to time. Overall, PVC at the Roundhouse Resort was beyond our expectations! We enjoyed our stay so much! We will be back again! Thank you for the amazing customer service and the wonderful stay!

The only saving grace was the front desk staff, June and Brendon, who were very polite and did what they could to help. However, the management and housekeeping are non-existent. My room was disgustingly dirty at check-in. The bed comforter was soiled, and the bathtub drain was completely clogged with hair from a previous guest. When I reported it, I was told housekeeping was too busy. Brendon at the front desk actually had to come up and clean the drain himself just so I could take a bath. The rest of the room was never cleaned, even after a housekeeper directly promised me she would handle it. On top of the filth, there is a major security risk: the side door to the parking lot that requires a key card was left wide open and unlocked my entire stay. The hallways were also filthy.
