Honey Bubbles Home Day Care is easily the most personable and loving day care environment for kids I have ever seen. The in-door play space is clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of fun toys and learning activities. I was impressed by the tall wall lockers available and the colorful floor mat with beginning numbers and words in both English and Spanish. There is also plenty of room in the backyard to run and play on the swing set, plastic play set, monkey bars, etc. The picnic-style table in the back yard also lets the kids eat outside when the weather is nice. The personality of Honey Bubbles is an expression of its owner's personality. Tina has run this small home business with love for quite a few years now, and her cheerfulness, attentiveness, and affection for the children of Honey Bubbles is much like that which I have observed her show her own children. I used Honey Bubbles for day care and pre-school for my daughter for approximately three years. The place was AMAZING! Bright and colorful, super clean, organized, with lots of age appropriate toys and ample supervision. At snack time, the children ate healthy snacks made by Tina and her family. Tina is warm and funny, but also highly professional and super knowledgeable. She helped me so many times (when I was at my wits end) come up with fair and creative solutions to teach my then toddler positive social skills. I regularly consulted Tina for parenting advice, and even though it wasn't her job, she always smiled at me and gave me the "good stuff" you can't find in a Dr. Spock book. We LOVE Mrs. Tina - she had my daughter from 3 months till just last week due to us having to moving . And she was the hardest thing to say goodbye to! I can't tell you how many days I forgot a diaper bag / formula/ bottle . Mrs. Tina would never even text me to tell me I forgot it . She had backups of everything for all the kids. Even formula . I went back to work and she adjusted her operating hours to work with my schedule which meant she had to wake up even earlier and her whole family loved my daughter like their own . It's so nice to leave your baby and not ever have to worry about if they're being treated good . She also prepared fresh baby food for my daughter because we couldn't find something that mixed well with her sensitive belly. Maria Yepez has cared for my children for more than 6 years. During this time she has become an extension of our family. She treats all children in her care as if they are her own. My daughter had the pleasure of being here at only 12 months now she graduates to preschool at 4 years. This place was amazing with our daughter and we will miss the staff very much. Maria always made sure we would get updates on our baby and always had open communication I was very nervous of course like any parent would be because of a new place and it's your child your trusting someone else take care of while you work but staff assured us she would be in good hands and we also contacted references that backed up everything they said they would do so we were very happy keeping our daughter there for a long period until she was ready for preschool. This review is long overdue!! I volunteered at Honey Bubbles a few summers ago and I can honestly say it was a great and learning experience!! Tina is so knowledgable and genuinely loves the kids she cares for. She makes the kids feel right at home, and the healthy food she makes is a huge plus! Our son has been going to Honey Bubbles for about a year. He is three and a half years old now. We like that it is a small daycare with personal attention. Tina and Letty are experts in childcare and incorporate early childhood education. With them our son continued potty training and learning how to go to the bathroom with little to no assistance. They cleaned him up after countless accidents but now he is confident and accident-free. And he likes certain toys and craft times (play doh!) as well as some exceptionally delicious home-cooked chicken and other foods. I met Tina at the Church of God in Escondido. She is extremely sweet, lovely, and trustworthy. Her daycare is clean, and fun! She also has a more personal connection with the children, and parents since it is a smaller daycare community. This sense of family is much less likely to be achieved at a larger daycare. Tina is able to cater to your child's personal needs, and there is a playground in the backyard.
