First visit. Not sure we will be back. Service was slow, even though at 8 am on a Sunday it was pretty empty. We received no waters. We asked for a booster seat and the hostess didn't get it for us. We had to wait for the waitress to stop by. The food was eh. I ordered a "carnitas" breakfast sopes. There was no flavor. And the eggs that were poached I ordered well done were runny. I got the Buffalo chicken salad and the chicken was so crisp and moist! It was a nice thin coating of breading, it was perfect! My daughter got the kids chicken strips and tatter tots and they were the same chicken I had on my salad! They were delicious and the tots were crips and delicious! read more

We expected much more from Honey Jam given their other locations are pretty good. Unfortunately our experience here was very disappointing. We were seated by the hostess and sat for 10-15 minutes without any waitstaff acknowledgment. No waters or silverware. We received barely lukewarm soup, overcooked chicken, but most difficult to understand- hard pancakes?! How do you mess up pancakes as a breakfast place?? Giving a star for delicious strawberry orange juice but that is literally the only good thing we had. Plus the bathrooms weren't very clean. We will not be back. read more

We had a very good server but were disappointed to discover that a cook decided to start adding jalapeño to their avocado toast, this made our breakfast inedible and when I brought this to the attention of our server, she indicated we were not the first customer today to complain about it. I am very disappointed. I have been here before and it wasn't bad. This time they tried to rip me off. First, the prices are quite steep for breakfast. Our waitress was mediocre. Didn't come to check on us until she gave us the bill. My lesson from today is to ALWAYS look carefully at the bill. She overcharged us on everything except the coffee. We had 2 kids meals. The kids meals are 5.29 each according to the menu. Nope, she charged us $7.09 each. She also charged us for the M&Ms that we did ask for, so that was not the issue. So, she charged us $1.80 more for each kid's meal. My breakfast according to the menu was $13.59. The bill said, $15.09. So she charged me an extra $1.50 on my meal. The other meal was for 14.59 according to the menu. We were charged 16.09 for that. Again, we were overcharged $1.50. So, she overcharged us on the bill over $6.00. Needless to say, I challenged it. I took it up to the cash register. The lady there pretended that she didn't understand what I was talking about. She went to get the manager and told me to go back and sit down. I went back to the table. We waited for quite some time, I saw her go speak to the waitress, but the waitress never came over to say anything to us. Finally, with 2 anxious little kids, we decided to get up and go up to the cash register. Someone was manually adjusting our bill with pen and paper. NO apology or anything. She told me that there are 2 different prices. One is for carry out and the other is for in house dining. We were charged for the carry-out. Needless to say, carry out prices are really inflated. Check the website. Look at the regular menu, then start a carry out order. You will see the difference in price. Anyway, I would love to know how many other people that waitress ripped off that day????? How many other waitresses do this on a regular basis to inflate their tip? I'm sure that they are hoping that the "dumb" customers will not look at the bill. No worries, I will definitely not be going back to this establishment. My favorite waitress is Stephanie! My husband and I will only come if she's there! She was super welcoming when I went for the first time. She was very patient! Their chicken sausages are amazing and I honestly refuse to go anywhere else for breakfast now. read more

Ordered online and picked up. Got home to see this crap. I get of you run out of certain items on a dish. But tell me do I could have ordered something else. Don't just charge me $18 and throw some dried out sopes in a container with 2oz of pork and soggy eggs on top. This was my first visit ever for a Honey-Jam (10/24/21) and let me tell you I will never be returning. We were a party of 6, totally understood we would be waiting for a table. By the time we sat down, they pushed two tables together and the one table wasn't even cleaned. Still had 2 plates, empty coffee creamer, an empty coffee cup. We ordered soft drinks as well as some bloody marys. 20 mins go by, we just get the soft drinks and no drinks. I had asked where they were and were told that the bar was backed up 20 mins but it was coming. 10/15 mins later our drinks come along with our soups. Another 30 mins pass and we asked about our food and the server stated it was coming. Fast forward waiting over an hour for food comes out, but 5 out of the 6 were cold. Not one person asked how anything was. At this point I wasn't even upset, I was annoyed. Left half the food on the table and was asked if we wanted boxes - which we did not take any. We get our bill and their was a 20% add gratuity for the WORST service. I then waited another 5 mins for someone to check me out. No one still has asked me how anything was, just took the payment. They first day did not know how to do half cash half card. I get a new lady and same thing, did not ask how anything was and asked me if I wanted to tip more. That's when I said, why would I tip more for bare minimum? All my food but one plate was cold. She took my payment and asked if I wanted to talk to a manager. I said yes and the manager came up to me and told her how my experience was and she said why did I not get her sooner before I paid my bill? I told her I did not have an option. I was surprised to walk in and see only a few customers when we used to have to wait for a table with the previous owner. The decor has not changed. The homemade sugar coated donuts were a delicious way to start the meal. I ordered the roasted veggie hash with 2 poached eggs on top from the heart healthy menu. The eggs would have been good except the dish was almost not edible from all the salt dumped on it. The veggies didn't look roasted. The cook forgot the broccoli and green onion. The dish was undercooked. Sweet potatoes were too firm and the white onion was raw. The dish had a layer of oil. And again, way too salty. Heart healthy? NO!! The other meal was just ok. English muffin wasn't toasted enough. The bacon and eggs were just ok. Hash browns were good and crispy. We spent $38 minus tip for 2 meals and donuts. Bring back The Broken Yolk! Oh yes and the loud 90's club music was a little over the top for breakfast. I think the owner needs to pay this restaurant a visit. read more

I payed $15 for mac and cheese, it was sticky and was cooked too much, my sisters food was burnt twice and we barely saw the waiter, when my friend had gotten there the waiter only gave her a drink and never came back, we needed to get a new waiter to get food. Don't fooled by the sign out front this is still broken yolk. I had high hopes but those disappeared quickly. Management doesn't support staff. Our poor waitress had 5 tables sat in a short time while other sections were open. She did a great job running from table to table with Zero help with running food or cleaning tables.
