This is for my son's wedding and I wanted to make sure this was reasonable. My tan lines were fairly light but I am wearing an off the shoulder dress. When they didn't respond after three days, I called and left a voice mail. They then responded via email. I set up the appointment for 1pm for express spray tan. The day of my appointment, they called me in the morning and asked if I could come in by 10:45 or 11. I thought I could make it by 11. It turns out I couldn't get there until 11:15. The clerk/sprayer operator acted very put out even though I was doing them a favor by changing my appointment. I let the bronzer sit on me for 8 hours and I did not wear a bra. She told me that I should not wear one until I rinsed off unless I wanted lines. I definitely did NOT want lines....that is what I am trying to avoid. I did the express. I should have only had to wait 4 hours. I waited 8 for good measure. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! I don't know if the photos reflect it well, but I still have lines....which will show up in photos and I have lines on my wrists. Maybe my wrists weren't straight when she sprayed them. This was not a good experience for me. I'm not dark skinned, and these were not dark lines to begin with. These photos are from 28 hours after being sprayed.

And I know as soon as it gets hot enough to tan outside I'm going to sizzling if I don't get a base going. Very easy to join, a little pricey (not sure what to compare it to but seems spendy). BUT the place is spotless. The staff is friendly and there is hardly a wait. If this is your first time tanning, I would lather up your face, neck, ears and top of your chest. I just use 15 SPF tanning lotion, I really don't need more freckles or any skin damage. And my skin still looks even it's just more protected than the rest of my snow white skin. Also, I prefer the stand-up booth, there are handles so you can stand there with your arms up and not worry about white spots. I usually get my groove on while in there, gotta dance to the music man. I plan to just use this month's membership to get my base and then let the natural sun do the rest!

Air-tan is perfect because you get to consult with an actual human expert who helps you decide how to best get exactly the look you're going for. I have gone twice now, both in the winter months ahead of fancy special events. I get the regular solution at level 2 (they could also do a 1.5 if you're nervous) and it is perfect. Just enough to give me a healthy glow. The price is also great, especially with the $10 off coupon for your first time when you check-in on yelp and a great refer-a-friend program. I'm glad to be able to incorporate air-tan into my self-care treat routine, just like you might consider a manicure, nice haircut, or wax. I thought that if I got some color beforehand, I could be full #TeamSunscreen during the entire trip. I had never gotten a spray tan before and I was nervous to do it because let's be honest, we've all seen spray tans go wrong. I read sooooo many reviews and ended up choosing this biz! Bronze2U uses "solutions that are natural and organically infused with Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Vitamins A, E & C. They're FDA certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, and there's NO animal testing involved." Impressive! Other (cheaper) locations use an ingredient that can make you orange, but not here. The natural ingredients also didn't break my sensitive skin out at all either. The owner Bree brings a pop-up tent and spray tan machine with her, directly to your home. She quickly sets up in a few minutes and has you strip down to whatever you feel comfortable in. She put lotion on the parts that tend to keep extra color: elbows, knees, toes, etc. She then did the whole spray tan in under five minutes. She then puts powder on you to keep it on and you're instructed to wear baggy clothes while you wait. The tan didn't wash off on anything though - I'm impressed! You can choose to get the medium tan, which is the cheaper option and has you waiting six hours before showering. There is also the quick tan option which is more expensive, but let's you shower in only an hour or two (you choose when to shower based on how dark you want it to be). I did the medium tan, waited six hours, rinsed off, and was impressed by the natural color I had. It looks so natural and glowy. Sooooo good! Bree is also is an esthetician and has a location downtown in the XG Groom Room, where she will also start doing spray tans soon too. I'll definitely be doing this again!

It was super clean and I really liked the vibe of the room! Solely because of this treatment, I'll never go to another tanning salon, and I'm more than happy to come back often and pay full price! I completely understand that businesses need to make money and a profit, but this marketing is better than just handing someone a list of prices and trying to convince them to choose the most expensive one.
