Had a takeaway from here for the first time in years. Absolutely awful. So many bad things about it, so I'll go through them one at a time, as some won't be applicable/relevant to everyone.
Firstly, I'm in a wheelchair. Like a lot of takeaways (particularly Chinese takeaways in Britain, of which this is a common style), big step into it, so, in no way is it wheelchair accessible. Unlike many other takeaways, though, you can't order online, and they don't even deliver. You have to ask a friend/family member to go get it for you. Not good.
Secondly, they purport to take cards, but don't. You have to go out, cross the car park, go into the road, cross the roundabout, there's a bank with an ATM outside, get cash out there, and come back. They said they have a machine that accepts cards normally, but that it wasn't working. Don't know if that's true or not, but, again, not good.
Thirdly (and this applies to all it's customers) - food preparation is bad. Bones not removed, shells left partly on shellfish, and I had prawns that hadn't had the poo cleaned off. Disgusting.
Basically, I've seen better hygiene, service, and even disabled access, at street food stalls in Bangkok. read more
