We came here for a family meal with my husband's cousin's family. By far, that was one of the best and fanciest Chinese meal I've had in my life.
We started with scallop and tofu soup as well as the big cold cuts meal. It was followed by a series of very well prepared dishes: Shrimps with Vermicelli, Clam with celery, Beef Stew, Lamb Hot Pot, Fried Crabs with Salted egg, Stir-Fry Noodles, Turtle, etc.
It was only my second time to try turtle meat. This was a little different since it was made with the shell included. There's hardly any meat to eat. It's mostly the fleshy skin. The sauce was tasty and appetizing. It was a bit salty with a hint of sweetness.
I particularly enjoyed the Salted egg crabs and the Beef stew. I didn't wanna eat any rice, but it's hard to eat the beef stew without white meat.
The stir-fried clams and scallop with broccoli had very distinct taste. They were both very tasty. The flavor was a good blend of the seafood and generous blend of spices. The clams were a little spicy. It was perfect for the seafood dish.
My son feasted on the Noodles. It was meant as a filler for people who end up not feeling full enough with the earlier dishes. But in this case, we had way more food than what we could consume. read more
