What a difference! Last time I ordered Hunan Beef it came with some kind of yellowish rice in the same container. Hence, the amount of beef was reduced by about 50%, but at the same price. I would give 0 stars if I could. The problem? They NEVER get the food order correct. Tonight was the 4th time we ordered pork fried rice and what did we get?? Regular white rice. I'm convinced that this is a way to cheat the customer. And then, they have the audacity to charge 3% if you use a credit card. The food is ok. Their Hunan Beef and Beef Lo Mein are decent. Egg rolls are horrible. They taste like old and burned oil. I ordered donuts once, and regretted it. Their Hot and Sour soup has a weird taste to it. The recipe is all wrong. Their Spicy Thai soup with chicken or shrimp is anything but spicy. It also doesn't have lemongrass, which is a must have ingredient. The rice is poor quality and extremely expensive. A small order is $2.95!!!! The infuriating thing is that you order a large meal and they give you a small rice with it. If they charge for a large meal, they should give you a large rice. The quality of the rice is poor. It's also really sticky and at times not fully cooked. The online menu is pathetic. Most items don't have prices. There is no explanation of the food items. Absolutely disgusting. The vegetables alone could be reused for another dish that's how much they put. My wife got Beef and Broccoli in Garlic Sauce and she got 8 pieces of beef and a tray full of broccoli. If I wanted to eat healthy I would have went to Salad Works. I used to love this place, but lately me and my family have noticed the rice being crunchy (old) wings are dry (old) and shrimp rolls greasy. We spend over 70 dollars hear at least twice a month due to our family card (Spades and Poker) games, but no more. I am not sure what is going on with them in serving this subpar food they have been serving since the summer. Hong Kong just lost a customer who drove from Magnolia to get your food, but I'd rather go to Wilmington or Milford before going back to Hong Kong and the crunchy rice, greasy shrimp rolls, under seasoned Lo mein (dry) and dry, dry old chicken wings. read more

I always get the fried Chicken wings and fried rice. And that is about it, the times I explored their menu I was disappointed on multiple occasions. So now I just stick to their wings which are RE-FRIED, yes the wings are already fried from like a day before them are refried, that's why you get that old taste sometimes. The customer service over the phone is horrible it's like they want you off the phone and never give you you're total. Other than that is your regular quick meal America/Chinese food. read more

Ate here the first time tonight. Was hoping for great chinese food because google reviews are outstanding. Ordered the bourbon chicken and it was cold, dry, and chewy. Had to spit 5 pieces into my napkin because of those little chewy balls of death. Wife ordered the honey chicken. It arrived cold as well, but heated it up in the microwave and she loved it. I placed an order for Hong Kong through Beyone Menu. When I went to pick it up it took several minutes for the staff to acknowledge me but once they finally did I was given my order shortly after. Upon arriving home I found that an item had been left out off my order and immediately called to let them know. I spoke with a female that told me that the next time I placed an order I could let them know about the item left out and they would include it in that order. The following week I called to place an order and inform the young lady of the item that was left out and she told me that the (missing) item WAS given with the order I received the week prior which in fact was not the case at all. I asked to speak to a manager and he told the same thing. I responded with the question of why was I told that I would receive my missing item on my next order to then be told that the item was never missing in the first place? A restaurant with no intent to follow through to fix a mistake they made is just BAD business and BAD customer service all together. I will NOT be ordering from them again. One of those plastic-food Chinese fake takeout places. The soup was served to us (seated) right in the plastic takeout container, though we were eating in. (I won't say "dining" because it was definitely not dining.) The plastic smell of the container came through with the soup and I recommended my companion not eat it. The rest of the food was absolutely awful. You know, the kind of deep-fried, puffy lumps coated in fire engine red sticky sauces. Always good Chinese take out. The women up front runs that place and keeps everything on track. It does get busy on weekend night, and when school sports get out at night but just call ahead, and you should be fine. read more

Wow, I saw this review and couldn't believe it. Yes this place is mainly for take out or sitting at a small table for lunch on the go. However, this is some of the best take out I've had. Several others we know have the same opinion. We have tried several different dishes there and you can't really go wrong. Hate seeing bad reviews of a good business. Been there myself most of the bad stuff came from competitors. Try the hot and spicy Wontons, our kids love them. They also make some the best hot and sour soup I have ever enjoyed! read more
