However, I feel compelled to share a disappointing experience that has left us disheartened and, frankly, disillusioned with the values you promote. Your website states that your mission is to make a meaningful impact in the community, to support and give back, and to honor those who serve and sacrifice. Sadly, we did not see that mission reflected in the way a young man--our son--was treated when he was recently hired as a dishwasher for the summer. He was interviewed by a member of your team, hired, and showed up ready to work. After just one shift--approximately five hours--he was told the job was too fast-paced for him. He received no training, no support, and no real chance to succeed. This young man is on the autism spectrum, a fact he openly disclosed during the onboarding process. He is a college student with a 3.9 GPA, he drives, he works hard, and he's kind and eager to contribute. In short, he's exactly the kind of person any business should be proud to employ. But instead of being given an opportunity, he was dismissed without any effort to accommodate or support him. You speak of honoring bravery and selflessness. I hope you can see the bravery it takes for someone like him to step into a new environment and the selflessness he shows in always trying to be of help to others. That courage should have been recognized--not dismissed. Did you discourage him? Yes. But will it keep him down? No. He's had to get back up too many times in his life not to know how. Still, he walked away feeling rejected because of his disability--and that should never happen, especially in a place that claims to champion those who overcome hardship. I hope you will take this to heart and reflect on what it truly means to support and include all people--especially those who have already had to fight so hard just to be seen as equal. Inclusion and respect are not just words to print on a mission statement; they're values that must be lived out in every hire, every interaction, every decision. Food is great! We really like coming here because they have a great selection of food, a full bar and great outdoor area for families/ children/ dogs. We love their sidewinder fries, pizza, burgers and freedom IPA...and honestly their food is better than any of the local breweries near us, including 2silos. A brew pub with a more upscale atmosphere, especially paired with the prices. However I do think the food and service reflected the prices. It has a full service bar with cocktails, beers and ciders. Outside is self seating with QR codes on the tables but we had a very attentive server so it felt like standard dining. We ordered the Hazy IPA and Strawberry Lemonade Sour and both were good, but I was happy we got a smaller pour for the sour as it would have been too sweet to drink a full pint. The appetizers or "snacks" were really the highlight. The smoked wings were incredible and while at a steep $17, we got 4 "full" wings aka 4 wings and 4 drumsticks. The cook on them was incredible, as was the Carolina bbq sauce and what we think was homemade ranch? I ended up pouring the Carolina sauce on my cheeseburger. We also got the brisket deviled eggs and those had such great flavor and balance with the tanginess of the egg and the savory brisket. Our burgers were good but honestly the smokehouse burger was not worth the $20. I would stick with the regular cheeseburger and/or splurge on appetizers. What will 100% bring me back are the sidewinder fries. I can't remember the last time I had these fries on the east coast and it was so nice to see them on the menu. I encourage using the ranch from the wings to dip the fries in. We will definitely be back, especially with Solace brewing right across the street. Great location! read more

Came here for the first time and was impressed! The faculty is big, lots of open space and seating, and the food is outstanding! We had the pretzel bites, fried pickles, pork rinds, honor dog, and pizza and they were all delicious! We were a party of 6 and easily found seats at the large bar. Our only complaint was the staff. They need to be trained to interact with everyone in a group, not just one person. When the bartender would finally show up, he'd only ask one person in our group if they wanted a drink. He'd then go it, bring it back and leave, while the rest of us sat there trying to get his attention to order another drink! This happened all night long! The bartenders also spent all their time at the far end of the bar (the farthest point from the front door), instead of interacting with the customers. Seeing that the brewery honors first responders, we were rather shocked and disheartened to see that they sell THC and CBD infused products. I can't see any Police Officer standing behind this! read more

We went here for the first time on my birthday (12/5/23) and it was delicious! I'm so happy this location opened up right by my house! The service was great! Matt was our server, and he was ever so kind and gracious of a server! He took his time with us and explained everything. It was very busy and VERY LOUD too, but that was to be expected and on a Tuesday night and at almost 7pm. We got the platter to split which we selected the baby back ribs and sliced brisket along with two sides that were garlic mashed potatoes and baked mac & cheese. Oh my, nav I just say, first off, I was just blown away by the garlic mashed potatoes!!!!!!! They were the BEST I HAVE HAD!!!!!!! YUMMMM!!!!!! Everything was delicious, but the ribs were a bit too spicy for me, however, my friend did not have any problem with them so he devoured them! I also ordered a flight beer for myself which I enjoyed very much! I liked one so much that I got a 4-pack to go! I love the fact that they honor our heroes and have a wall to show this. It's very large with very high ceilings and it's a very beautiful space with gorgeous silos that are visible from the outside. This will most definitely be a a spot to go to again and again!! 12/13/23 - UPDATE - My 5 star review went down to a 2 star review since there is zero consistency with their food literally one from ONE week to another. The garlic mashed potatoes I had just ordered the week prior and raved about were a complete BUST and completely flavorless when I ordered them this week!! I tried out their new location last Thursday at a soft opening event. Great facility that was built from the ground up as a brewery. Ask for a tour if you have time. Really neet to see behind curtain of how everything comes together. I can see this place being really busy during the holidays for corporate events. That being said, we did not coordinate with management and we have been back twice since my low review, so this is an honest review. I am pleased to say service is back to being great. We went back on a weekday when the weather was absolutely beautiful and people wanted to be out. It WAS a weekday (so not peak occupancy), but we were seated immediately. There was a large party aside from us, but we were ACKNOWLEDGED by the server, who LET US KNOW the situation. I love that. I dont mind waiting, just let me know you at least see me and explain the situation. I understand. Bonus points for being clear with me: the server's shift ended in the middle of our meal. I get it since I'm a shift worker too. Handoff to oncoming server was flawless (introduction, explanation of what's happening, greetings). I'm back to loving this place and wholeheartedly can't wait to be back to support them. read more

I find myself going here when Im looking for a full service bar experience close to home. I have had mixed experiences with the bar service. The outside is nice if the weather is good. Love this place! Beer is great and their mission is even better - honoring those who protect all of us and this great country. We first stumbled upon this amazing brewery in late August of '21 when our country had lost 13 amazing soldiers. In such a dark moment of our country's history, the great patriots at Honor had a memorial to honor each hero we lost in that horrible attack. I'm proud to support them. It's awesome they've expanded with a new location, and great space inside and out. Accommodating and fun for families with kids too. Great menu with lots of delicious options. Only thing that I was bad is that they need more blinds to screen the sun in their taproom. Blinding at the table we last had when visiting. read more

This review is coming from the perspective of a dog lover who brings their dog to breweries and wineries. We had a fabulous time with our dog at Honor Brewery on Veteran's Day. Although they were extremely busy, they managed to hold it together and accommodate everyone. We had so much fun! However, we went there today (Sunday, 12/17) with our pup and there was no place for us to sit inside, only a lonely outdoor table. We were on the outside looking in as there was no bar open outside and it was chilly outside. Although the staff was so kind to bring a heater over, it's tough to feel like you are sitting alone. I realized that this place is really lacking in this department, i.,e., accommodating people who bring dogs. Maybe something to think about for the future? Please know that I understand that a restaurant dining area cannot allow dogs in the area that serves food...and that it is probably a problem for many, there should be a nice and heated place for people like us as we had just come from a brewery that welcomed pups. Atmosphere was great but for $18, the breakfast combo was pretty lousy. pancakes, eggs and sausage patty were served cold and pretty uninteresting. syrup was cold and right out of the frig so that didn't help. lots of staff that seem untrained and stepping over themselves. the table bar code system works well in a brewery when you are ordering a beer and a pretzel, i don't believe it works well for table side meal service as it's unclear who our waiter was. seems food was ordered and it sat in the kitchen too long. Again, a really good fun bar, not a great restaurant experience, at least not today. read more

The environment and facility are fantastic. Nice outdoor area for families and kids, which was surprising considering it's tucked into an industrial park. Food was above average. Most people don't go to a brewery expecting Michelin star dining, so in that realm, Honor stands above its competition. They also have a full bar which was a great feature for my wife who isn't a beer drinker. Overall, it's a vibes and ambiance place. Food is definitely better than other breweries in the area. Beer selection is broad and while not as great as some local breweries, the environment more than makes up for it. read more

Beer = 5 stars Kitchen = 1 star We ordered three different flights of beer since it was our first visit. Each beer was stellar. Fifteen different beers and each one was very well done. For dinner we ordered the Chicken Salad Melt and the BBQ platter with pulled chicken and pulled pork, with fries and mac/cheese. I'll start with the platter. The sides were fine. The stars of the platter, the pork and chicken, were in really small portions, served with thin "Texas toast" (why not slider buns?) and no sauce despite us being asked what sauces we wanted. The server had no idea which sauces were sweet and which were spicy but it didn't matter because the kitchen forgot to put any on the plate. While I'm on the topic of BBQ sauce, the first one they list on the menu is Kansas City vinegar. There is no such thing. Kansas City BBQ sauce isn't a vinegary sauce. That's a different region of the US. We came to Honor specifically for the BBQ so that meal was disappointing. The chicken salad melt was okay but the chicken itself was in huge tenderloin size chunks so it was hard to bite and eat as a sandwich. We tried to cut it in half and basically destroyed the sandwich by trying to cut those long chicken pieces. Chicken salad is made with small chunks or shredded chicken. The restaurant itself is beautiful and cleverly designed with double decker seating and a great view of sunsets. Please, owner or general manager, redo for accuracy the sauces for your BBQ dishes, beef up the portion size, serve buns instead of tiny Texas toast, let the servers try the sauces so they know which sauce is which, and get the kitchen doing as well as your beermeister. read more

The food here is really good and definitely like that they have cocktails as well as beers. The food is also a bit more elevated and unique than usual brewery food. However the service is very slow. We sat at the bar and though there were 2 bartenders, only 1 seemed to be doing anything. Further our food took over 45 mins to come out which was upsetting. Maybe it's just the pain of starting a new place and this might resolve, willing to give this place another try. I went during the holiday season so I did like the Christmas decor. read more

Our server ( a girl with blonder shoulder length hair) was horrendous. She was completely absent most of our visit apart from when we could wave her down. It would be completely understandable if she was busy but we noticed she would be hanging around the host stand then disappear in the back for a few minutes. Our food took a lot longer than those around us but the Mac and cheese was a great hit, the salmon wasn't as good as previous visits but still good and the bbq platter was a little dry but still good for the price. So the beer was the downfall. I will chalk it up to new tanks and still fine tuning the brewing process. Nice interior, decent beer, poor appetizers. I ordered the brisket cheese dip. It said it had peppers so I expected a little spice (it had none). It also mentions BRISKET in the title - I found a quarter sized piece of meat at the bottom of the tasteless cheese. Absolutely insulting. It's supposed to have meat in it! Also the chips were WAY over-seasoned with Tajin - making them almost inedible. Just an awful awful appetizer. I was so bummed out about the low quality of the food, I doubt I will give Honor a second chance. It's clear the kitchen doesn't care. read more

I am a big fan of Honor overall. Have been going consistently since they opened and really want to support this local spot with good beer and good vibes. But, they have got to get their kitchen and service together. I don't know what changed about six months ago but food is coming out overcooked, wrong, not fresh or tasting right. This place is great. The beer selection is very good and well executed. The food is top notch across the board. Had the BBQ and it was absolutely perfect as were the fries that came with it. My Italian wife gave a big thumbs up to the pizza as do I. Even the two desserts were fantastic. Saw a number of other dishes pass by that looked like I might try them next time, the chicken and a hamburger that resembled a work of art. The design on the inside is breathtaking with what must be 30ft ceilings. The outside has spacious lawn area and outdoor tables. There are incidentally, tables outside on the second floor. The theme of the restaurant is to honor Veterans and First Responders which I am both and appreciative of that attention. Truthfully the best thing here was our server. He helped to navigate the menu for the food and beer. He checked on us regularly which helped the entire experience. As it turns out he told us that he loved his job. That's right, loved it.
