My family has used McComb more than once. Their team is very kind when you first meet with them…read moreafter your loved one dies. But that compassion turned to cold harassment when it came to billing. We had explained there was a temporary freeze on our mother's accounts due to her death, and that we were working diligently to pay her funeral bill ASAP. The McComb billing person kept calling and threatening our family and my mother's investment account rep, even after the bill payment was sent. When it was pointed out that the bill had been paid, they flippantly said, oh, the left hand must not have known what the right hand was doing, referring to their internal departments. My family was shocked by the callous attitude. It seems like all this location cared about was making a sale, not how to provide compassionate customer service to our family in the chaos of our grief. Yes, there was a slight delay on paying the bill (a few days). Yes, the bill was paid absolutely as soon as we could. Yes, we communicated to McComb that the bill had been paid. But would our family ever use McComb's services again? Take a guess.

I would highly recommend this funeral home. It was about 5 yrs ago we had them do my grandmas…read morefuneral. Very professional had a plan and you could tell. Funerals directors were very patient and explained everything we asked about. I have been to other funerals since then and they dont come close to excellent service Elzey Patterson put on.
