My phone calls and emails were always responded to promptly with such grace and kindness. The process in "signing up" my mother for services was seamless, quick and very thorough. They took the time to pair my mother up with the personal care aid they felt was the best fit. My mother loves her!! Her aid is so incredibly kind, patient and goes above and beyond to make my mothers day a joyful one. Our family is so grateful for her the rest of the staff. The…read moremajority of good, qualified, caring nurses and CNAs have left, in large part due to poor management. My experience with them ended in March 2026. Staff is reprimanded for trying to go above and beyond, and also if they report substandard care by other care team members. Night shift is short staffed always, and residents are left for hours without anyone checks to make sure they are safe in beds, dry, etc. Wound care is lacking as a priority. One nurse who saw that a resident was in trouble healthwise and called an ambulance was reprimanded, and their job threatened. Apparently, if a resident isn't occupying a bed, the facility doesn't get paid. There are still a few good staff members who do care and try to make a difference, but the overwhelming inaction, poor care and terrible attitude, makes it very difficult for those who DO care. Find another option for your loved one. This is not the privately owned, well run Royal Manner of a few years ago. Once they sold to Avir, everything was about the bottom line, period.
