Once getting to the office and completing the first session, we were advised that the best therapist for our family counseling does not take insurance. We made it clear that we would prefer to see the same counselor as we could not afford $120 an hour per session. They stated that they would call to schedule the appointment. They never called us back. We also paid our copay, in cash, the day that we were seen. Continue to receive bills for the amount already paid even though we have the receipt of payment. Have left several messages with no response regarding this issue. I feel that this practice did a bait and switch. They never intended to have us as patients unless we planned on being "cash" clients. For a practice that considers themselves "Christian", they are definitely not being the hands and feet of Christ.

The way that she leads the class allows us as students to feel at home with one another, and to push our bodies as far as we are able to at the time. There is no competition, and we never have to worry about failure, because each of us is at our own level, and Susie caters to all of us effortlessly. Mind Body Stress Reductions is located in the second string of buildings in a business complex on Columbia road. They have massage tables, counseling rooms, and specialize in psychology, hypnotherapy, massage, holistic healing of the mind, and integrative medicine. Needless to say their offices are very relaxing, and the staff that I have met thus far are all gentle souls who are more than happy to help. I'm hoping that my review will convince you to give their services a try if you are in need of any kind of physical or mental relaxation. These wonderful folks are more than worthy of your patronage. I was referred out to Trutherapy from Tricare and I honestly had no idea what to expect, I just…read moreknew I needed some help and what Eisenhower was providing wasn't adequate. I was really anxious to even start therapy because I felt like whoever I'd be seeing would just sit there, nod their head, and take notes - you know like in the movies. But it's nothing like that. My therapist is very human, and she makes me feel like my thoughts and feelings are valid. While sessions are about an hour, I feel like we don't waste any of the time just sitting in silence either. A huge thing for me is that I'm also very comfortable throughout the sessions. Scheduling is very easy and Morgan at the front window has always been super helpful and friendly with questions and future appointments. They actually let you schedule several appointments at once which I found super helpful. You'll also get phone calls from Morgan to confirm your upcoming appointment, and even text messages to remind you. If you don't want to do in person appointments right now, they do provide the option of telehealth video calls. The only disappointing part is if you go on vacation, they aren't available to provide you any sessions outside of Georgia or South Carolina based on insurance policies. I'd easily recommend coming here to others.

Billing practices are absolutely awful. No bill or explanation of the charges were sent with this message, her copay is $0, and I received no previous bills or mention of payment being due. Fast forward about 2 weeks, same thing happened again. You owe an amount, no explanation, and it had to be paid before her appt in less that 3 hrs. I spoke to their billing dept the first time, he informed me he would speak to the people who handle these messages, as they are supposed to send out messages about billing in the morning. The therapist is great, but their lack of decent billing communication has me hesitant to continue using them. It is very shady that they continually tell you a balance is owed but do not proactively furnish a bill. Updated to add: received really crappy feedback from their office regarding these issues. We ended up calling her Dr's office for another referral to find somewhere more organized. The therapist and Dr here were amazing, I really wish the office staff was more on their game because I would have been 100% satisfied with Trutherapy if we didn't have the issues going on with billing.

She has treated me for nearly 15 years now! In crisis, she is always available I've called the office and Amy, who is absolutely fabulous by the way either instructed me to come on in immediately or that Dr Lentz would call me at approximately a certain time that very day. . I greatly value Dr Lentz's opinion and recommendations for healthcare. Sometimes, psychiatric care can reach a little close to home! Dr Lentz once told me to basically stop feeling sorry for myself, which was truly a little difficult to hear. I say this because it demonstrates that she truly provides care which can be a little uncomfortable naturally.. Once again kudos to Amy for always being available to handle coordination with Dr Lentz. She does a fine job of managing the office. Lastly a comment to anyone on any medications. Please be compliant and take them! Unfortunately, I'm treated by a number of specialist and take meds three times per day. I really can't say enough positive things about the doctor and the entire staff here. I have a rather complex patient profile and upon moving to Augusta I initially was a patient at the military treatment facility. When I decided to change that and first went to Serenity I was quite anxious about being able to continue the care plan that I had while I lived in Va, the plan that my doctor at Eisenhower completely tore apart and refused to keep in place. I was nervous and worried and when I mentioned this to the nurses they were very encouraging and kind. I'm pleased to say that once my records from Virginia were sent to Dr. Elijah's office he was more than happy to continue my care as it had been for three years prior to moving to Augusta. He was also very kind and wasn't ever condescending or rude. I was so incredibly relieved. When I had questions about the efficacy of my medication he listened and was happy to change the things that weren't working so great. I'm also pleased to report that the therapy providers are really wonderful. Dr. Eliah and his staff are a credit to their specialty and to medicine in general.
