The best advice i have gotten the past year was standing in line on a Friday at Hope. A lady told us, even including gas, you can get at least double or even more, and higher quality of product, by driving an hour north to Texarkana. I have been a customer of hope pharmacy since they opened, and it's only gotten worse. I thought it was great, until I visited a real dispensary out of state. Need something for this weekend? is it Thursday or Friday, TOO BAD, YOU ARE S.O.L, THEY ARE CLOSED ALL WEEKEND, AND ITS A 2 DAY WAIT AFTER U PLACE ONLINE ORDER. Their menu is in your phone, and it rarely accurately reflects what they have in stock, you cant see or smell anything the flower prices are at least 2.5x greater than the street price, and what every other states dispensary charges. And for specialty products, tinctures, gummies, etc they all taste like chemical shit. NEVER GET THE PAX square pod vape pen, complete waste of $$$, I'd rather suck on a turd. And it's not uncommon to pickup your order only for it to be wrong. I truly despise whenever I have to go to Hope pharmacy bc I know that I'm about to wait in a tiny waiting room to pay at least double for an inferior product, to a "pharmacy" that barely has inventory sold to me by a cashier, that doesnt know anything. I've been coming to Hope Pharmacy for a few months. They are always knowledgeable and friendly. They sell a variety of strains that help with PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, pain, and other illnesses. So far, I have tried Morris Code, Crescendo Lemon Poppy Seed, Lemon Icing, Morris Code, and Berry Mint. There are too many to name. The prices are more expensive than on the street, but I don't know what is in the cannabis that I used to buy on the street. I would rather have mine government metered. Most of the staff are very rude. I had a problem with 1 delivery and the lady was so rude to me and told me i couldn't get deliveries anymore. No chance of forgiveness. I didn't cuss and I apologized for the confusion and still no. I have to drive an hour and 20 minutes to get there. I was supposed to have an order ready for a certain day and time. The website said it was ready, I drive over there, and not ready. they told me It wouldn't be today at all. So I go back the next day, still not ready and they tried to tell me not today again. I had to beg her to fill it the 2nd day so I wouldn't have to drive back a third time. So let's recap, I drive over there twice on two different days and my order still wasn't ready (even though the website said it was ready), they will not deliver to me and tried to make me come back a third time. Steven and the lady that works at the window are the nicest employees they have. Please keep them. We need more dispensaries so there is competition and maybe they would treat their patients better. This dispensary relies on a monopoly to take advantage of desperate patients with no other options. I will stick to legal hemp products and black-market dealers until Louisiana expands its medical marijuana program to other dispensaries and producers. Charging $70 for 10mg edibles? $100 for 500mg vape carts? NEWS FLASH, you're competing with the now-legal hemp market. Hemp-extracted 10mg THC edibles can be found in EVERY SMOKE SHOP IN AMERICA for ~$20/100mg (10x 10mg). Same goes for vape cartridges (a combination of 8-THC + HHC + CBD + CBN provides similar relief to 9-THC in my experience). Their overpriced flower might be worth a buy if you really want "legal" ($75/6g). But if you need high-THC relief, stick to black market extracts. Don't pay into this scam. read more

I feel they are doing the best that they can with the building that they are using. I would love to see them in a larger building. Along with a larger variety of flower to choose from, the flower that they have right now tends to go from 11% to 26%. I wish they could go above and beyond and hit the 30% plus some of us with severe chronic issues need. But, overall, I definitely give them an A+ for the service I receive. read more

I'm so glad Louisiana is catching up with the nation on medical marijuana. Hope pharmacy has always been a pleasant experience every time I have gotten an order. The pharmacists and employees are all so helpful and knowledgeable about all the products. The prices are a little on the higher side but this is Louisiana's first clinic and the quality speaks for itself. I don't mind paying a little more for medical quality. You have people lacing street marijuana with fentanyl and that is scary. For me, it's just been a blessing to know EXACTLY where what I am putting into my body came from,how it was produced, the effects , ect. The staff can help you pick a strain specific to your needs. I left with NO product. lady told me she had been waiting an hour for a consult. The staff was disorganized, didn't know what folders had who's info, could not answer simple questions about wait times even when repeated multiple times.This pharmacy will be GONE as soon as competition is allowed. The owner did emaip me to defend his business saying the lady had only been waiting "30" mins at that point. They take orders, pick ups and consults through the same window SMH. I think the staff works really fast. Rome was not built in a day. I had no problem waiting and finding out what would work good for me. I have had just a bit of pain considering I had a fractured neck and in pain for 2 years. Medication just knocked me out, literally on the floor several times. Only way for me to be pain free is with constant injections in my neck and back every few months. What a way to live. Hope Pharmacy does not pressure you, gives you time to explain and then you are on your way. I was very surprised at how quickly they had people in and out. Really nice group of people I intend going there real soon as I am almost out and need help. People come and sit without telling anyone why they are there. If you would they would be real fast at helping you. Even if you order on line you need to walk up to the desk and be polite and tell them why you came, then they can get you taken care of.
