I am so pleased by the progress we have made, and I use the tools we practiced every day. I am especially grateful for Susan's non judgmental listening style and the way she asks questions that open the door to me understanding what is happening. It was very calming that our time together was structured with clearly set expectations, but also followed the flow of ideas. If you are considering working with a coach or counselor, you should put Susan at the top of your list.

Susan was my leadership coach at a time in my life where I wasn't quite sure what I needed but I knew I needed support. From the very beginning Susan helped me find clarity by inviting me to check in with myself and my body. She held me through a lot of transition in both my professional and personal life by teaching me to be resourceful and to begin to pay attention to my actual needs and wants. Her interdisciplinary background, ability to comfortably talk about race, power, and oppression and her understanding of nonprofit structures were critical to my ability to build and deepen trust with her. She shows up and then some. Grateful for her wisdom and ability to listen so deeply without judgement.

As a therapist in training, I was so curious about her and her journey that I gave her a call. That was a life-changing decision because now she's my mentor! She roots me on, sees my power and strength, and challenges me in the most loving way possible. She has guided me in understanding and empowering me to channel my most authentic self and as an Asian-American womxn in this white, patriarchal society. Her teachings stem not only from her inner wisdom but also from her personal experience and actions. She definitely practices what she preaches. She is living proof of inner strength, power, and love. Her heart and soul is so real, genuine, authentic, that I can feel my own heart and soul wanting to break through all its layers just so it can be with her. She truly brings the best out of me. She is an incredible role model to me, one that I wish all young Asian-American girls can experience. When I spend time with her, I leave feeling an energetic shift, like something inside of me is either rising to the surface, being healed, being seen, or being loved. Rose is a beautiful human being and a powerful healer. Words in this review cannot capture her impact on my life. You'll just have to experience her for yourself! ;)

Over a period of 2 months, I gradually went from being stuck in a burnout state to a new happier equilibrium in life, with refreshed perspectives on the past and future. I am very grateful to have worked with her through a difficult period of my life and would highly recommend her!

I tried her out because she did EMDR, which I read about as useful for processing trauma. We did a thorough intake(and many intake forms) where Annie confirmed she would be a great fit as my therapist. Yet after a few sessions she suddenly said she lacked the expertise to continue providing care, rendering all the time and money spent for the previous sessions a waste. I asked her for a refund. She tried to make me sign a lawyer document. It turns out she got upset over a cancellation(a cancellation she agreed to personally cancel) and decided to schedule another session just to charge me the extra money and terminate the therapy relationship.

She upsells and overcharges, and her fees seem to go more towards marketing than her actual practice. She spent a lot of time talking about how great of a saleswoman she is. It appears that she cares more about running her business and exploiting her patients to make money than helping her patients. If you're in search of a therapist, you're much better off looking for a more affordable and less money-hungry practitioner who genuinely cares about their patients. There are many of them in the Bay Area and with some effort you'll find one. Good luck.

We joke about it all these years later, but coming back for those follow up sessions would be exactly what I needed and truthfully, what I was lacking in my life. Whitney embodies compassion, care, empathy, and love and provides the safety of allowing me to show up as I am on any given day ready to help me unpack whatever I bring her. I came to her at a point in my life when I had shattered as a person. She has been by my side through some incredibly challenging times and there isn't anyone else that I would want in my corner when life happens. Whitney is an incredible therapist. If you are looking for someone who will see you as you are, accept you as you are, and who will walk by your side as you navigate the triumphs and challenges life throws at you, she is the one you need. I think she's pretty amazing and am thankful for her every day.

I tried one avenue, but it just didn't work. So I went on a search for a different therapist. And that search went on day after day, hour after hour. I spoke to some, but nothing ever felt like it was the right fit. Until one day, when I was feeling defeated, I stumbled upon Whitney. I took a look at her website and read her reviews and felt hopeful for the first time in days. From the moment I first spoke to Whitney, I knew she was the one to help me. Two years later, and I can say with absolute certainty that choosing Whitney to be my therapist was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Whitney is compassionate, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable. She knows how to create a warm, comfortable and supportive environment where you feel safe to tell her all your thoughts and feelings. She's patient and kind, and never gives up on finding ways to help you. She has been such a positive light in my life, and has helped me overcome so much. While I'm still a work in progress, it's all thanks to Whitney that I have made it this far. And that is why I recommend and will always recommend Whitney. If you're looking for someone to help you get back onto the path to happiness, you've found her.

Maggie never failed to celebrate the amazing individual that is our son and always encouraged us to meet him where he was. We only stopped our sessions with Maggie as we moved overseas. Maggie works hard to keep up to date with her clinical knowledge and her practice is evidence-based, which we appreciated.
