Love this place! Dont let Santa Ana fool you because this place knows Coffee. I love their unique coffee drinks based off the seasons.

I got a pretty solid chai at this minimalist cafe. Their menu is small, which I do enjoy because it is easier for me to make a decision lol! The barista was also incredibly personable, welcoming, and worked quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There isn't a ton of seating for groups but great for individual work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is my second time at this location and both have been absolutely fantastic! The staff is so incredibly kind and pleasant to deal with and it makes for such a woman inviting atmosphere. Their coffee is delicious, and they also have a good quality Matcha, but I wouldn't mind getting again and again. Their service is also incredibly fast which is always an added bonus.

If you want a good espresso, come here. The coffee is really good. The matcha was good too. Friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice open space with lots of windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Street parking is available.

Stopped by to try a new coffee shop & ordered an iced brown sugar latte with almond milk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is spacious and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coffee was absolutely delicious as everything is made in house & not overly sweet, just right. This coffee is smooth & delicious. One of the best coffees I've had as my other favorites are in San Diego & New York! I will definitely be coming regularly. I highly recommend. Staff were very kind & welcoming & quick service.

I stopped here for a coffee while in downtown Santa Ana. It was my second time having a coffee here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice, simply designed coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's clearly a local gathering place as people were holding meetings here (in addition to socializing). That sense of a community center is something that I like in a coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The gentleman who served me my coffee was pleasant and efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The reason for the 4 (vs. 5) star review is because the seating was okay, but not that comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The upkeep of the coffee shop wasn't that great. Dishes were piling up in a corner of the counter and the restroom needed some routine maintenance work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Still, if you're in downtown Santa Ana, it's a good coffee shop to go to.

One man and an espresso machine. Modern and sparse space in a historic building in Santa Ana. Hidden bakery case featuring pasties from Collosus bakery in Long Beach. Simple. I ordered an ice latte to go, but I should have ordered a hot latte to stay and sit around and just take everything in for just a little bit. Street parking. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Hopper and Burr is a fancy coffee shop for those special days you need a special treat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm very much an americano or black drip coffee kind of girl and not very into overly sweet lattes with a bunch of syrup. But sometimes I feel like getting a treat and trying something new too! Hopper and Burr satisfies that very specific itch for me because they have speciality coffees that are not necessarily lattes. You can tell they actually get creative to come up with unique drinks. I also like that they have a seasonal menu. This time I got their colossal wreck. The barista literally cut the peel of a brand new lemon to add the oil from the peel to my drink. My favorite drink from Hopper and Burr was another seasonal drink called Nico No 2(?) Where they sliced an orange peel to add the oil to my drink as well. These drinks are tiny (usually smaller than a Tall size at Starbucks) but they are so delicious and I feel like I'm getting treated to a really nice drink! But just fyi they are expensive! Like $8 for a tiny fancy cup!

I saw this place on Yelp, so thought I would try it. They have an interesting coffee menu that isn't the "norm." The barista said "no" frequently when we asked for a vanilla flavored latte, or oat milk, so I felt a little put off, but settled on the honey coffee drink and a latte with brown sugar -- both with almond milk. We were too early for the ricotta and jam toast, since their kitchen doesn't open until 8am ... so we noticed that there was a pastry display, and ordered the scone, which was delicious. The coffees were very tasty, but they did start to loose their flavor as they sat ... I like to sip my coffee, and was disappointed with that aspect of the coffee.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute little spot right at the heart of DTSA.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor inside is very minimalist and chic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cute tattooed boys at the register that are super friendly. I like that they make small conversation with you. They recommended the Nico for me. I ordered mine with almond milk. Such unique flavors! It's a very aromatic drink with hints of orange and cinnamon. I think it's a nice spot and would definitely recommend checking them out. I will be back to the other drinks on their menu.

I love hopper & burr and have been coming here for years. They have such unique drinks and a seasonal menu so there's always something to try. I usually get a matcha latte and it's always perfect. We like to come here for a quick drink or even bring our laptops and work for a couple of hours since it's a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I think about the ricotta and jam toast on a weekly basis, it is soo good. But recently, I noticed the ricotta is spread really thinly and not as filled as before which I hope isn't the new way of making it. It used to be a perfect balance of creaminess and the tartness of the jam but now it's just mostly jam.. :(

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love this place. I've been coming here for a few years and it is a great place to study because they have WiFi and outlets and plenty of seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Their drinks are the real draw. They have unique creations and seasonal additions that are worth trying, today I had apple soda with bitters it was delicious but really their drinks are all good and they have a few food items which are good to, today I had the ricotta and jelly toast which is good but it's just one slice but yes it's delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about what they have and the place is in a great spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I don't expect over-the-top enthusiasm, but a little warmth and hospitality can go a long way in making customers feel welcome. Great service caught me at Enchanted Coffee…read more Some coffee shops serve great coffee. Others leave you thinking about the experience long after you've left. Enchanted Coffee did exactly that. I stopped by around 12:40 p.m. on a weekday, and the café was already bustling with customers. Luckily, I found the perfect outdoor seat where I could enjoy the sunshine without sitting directly in it. Inside was clean and welcoming, with mostly high-top seating, a communal island, and a small corner with traditional tables. Being on the shorter side, I knew the patio was my best option. During my visit, I also noticed guests enjoying the café with their dogs, adding to the relaxed neighborhood feel. Whenever I visit a new restaurant or coffee shop, I'm looking for more than great food. I'm paying attention to the experience. Customer service is where I believe businesses either shine or fall flat, and it's often what determines whether I'll return. I ordered the Lox Bagel along with a lavender oat milk matcha. I asked if I could add a single shot of espresso, but Elizabeth explained they pull two shots at a time. I laughed and told her, "I don't want you to dump it," so I happily took the double shot. She also let me know the bagel would likely take 20-25 minutes because only two employees were working. I appreciated her honesty and told her to take her time. Instead, my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Lox Bagel came on an everything bagel which was my choice, smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. They serve it whole, allowing you to slice it yourself. The bagel had the perfect toasted crunch, while the combination of creamy cream cheese, fresh vegetables, salty capers, and rich salmon created a bite that was balanced and incredibly satisfying. The dirty lavender matcha paired beautifully with it. As more customers continued to pour in, I couldn't help but watch how the staff handled the growing crowd. People patiently waited in line, squeezed into available seats, grabbed drinks to go, and somehow everything continued flowing smoothly. Even with only two employees working, the service never lost its warmth. Enchanted Coffee captivated me with more than its coffee. It was the hospitality, the honesty, and the overall experience that won me over. Needless to say, they've earned themselves a new weekly customer. If you're in the area or simply want to be captivated by the drinks, food and service...definitely give them a try.
