I am new to Arizona. The mental health provider I saw at the Florence location humiliated and belittled me in front of one of his colleges then prescribed medications that I do not take and wouldn't fill the ones that I do take. I wrote a formal complaint to the CEO but was never contacted about what happened in his office that day. Actions speak louder than words. If the CEO does not care about the quality of care that their providers give, why should the providers care about their jobs either? Good management starts at the top. If you value your health, stay as far away from the Florence location as possible. read more

Absolutely do not go here, I would give 0 stars if I could. The front desk workers are not trained and rude. I went into withdrawals from medications due to them cancelling appointments, scheduling them incorrectly, and refusing to schedule a new appointment. I once called and told them I ran out of refills and needed an appointment only for the receptionist to say they couldn't get me in for 2 months. I asked if they could connect me to my therapist so she could refill my meds and they then hung up. When I called back a different receptionist answered and got me an appointment for the end of the week. I was told my mental health issues were because of boys and then body shamed when I gained weight due to medication. I was later put on suicide watch by a more competent therapist so it obviously wasn't a boy issue. Please do not go to this clinic read more

Go anywhere else if you can! Lost prescriptions, no return calls for months. Ridiculously unprofessional! Arrived two minutes late for my appointment last week - was turned away! Arrived 20 minutes early today and am still waiting to be seen almost an hour after my appointment time! Asked why, front desk said, "sorry, we're running late today." Uhhhhhhh, what?! That no longer is an acceptable response when you turn patience away for being two minutes lage to an appointment folks! Asked for an office manager both times - nothing both times. Called about the issue to complain...of course nothing is done to resolve. Called Cenpatico to complain - nothing. This place is worthless! read more

Not a good place to work. I interviewed there but turned it down. They were going to have me working 4 twelve hour shifts in a row. No thank you and to deal with a crazy environment like that all day. The weeks were going to be on a rotation where the second week I would work 3 twelve hour shifts all back to back. Since the second week was only going to be 36 hours, I was told I was going to have limited benefits, despite working 48 hours the first week. Makes no sense to me at all. I can do 12 hour shifts but not 4 in a row and also adding in a half hour lunch and an hour of travel time each work day. That's way too much even for a young person. No thanks. Honestly i don't know how they've stayed open. They need to fire everyone (before they leave after a couple weeks) and start over. How are you guys supposed to help mentally unstable people when you can't keep a staff member longer then a couple weeks, and they people who stay literally hate it there so much you get crap service from them. Also i have been trying to pay a bill since February 2019 and i NEVER get a call back and the staff up front don't know how to take a payment. Which hey I'm fine with it, don't take your money then? Subpar care by unlicensed individuals who you rarely get to make a significant relationship with because of their high turnover rate. More than once they have muddled up my appointments and affected my medications. I stopped therapy because I'm tired of telling my story to yet another unqualified person for the nth time. Also case manager will not return my calls which is unethical. If you are relegated to use county mental health care because of financial or insurance constraints consider going to the one of the three other choices we have in this area. This place is truly terrible for mental health and if you and looking for any type of assistance look elsewhere because these people do nothing but the bare minimum when it comes to being case managers. They will call you only when it's totally mandated never to check up and make sure you're still alive. After three years I feel just as suicidal and depressed as when I started here and they haven't helped me personally with anything I've tried to accomplish or do even when I tried to involve them. read more

My family has been seen at this facility for primary care services and we have been very happy with the Primary care services. The only issue we have is when we call into the facility, the receptionists are VERY RUDE. Just recently I called and I explained what I needed and the lady who answered the phone was not very customer service oriented. This lady did not have a friendly voice and talked very softly, she also immediately transferred me without telling me she was going to transfer me, the phone just started ringing. If you don't want to work and be friendly then get out of the customer service field. I love the primary care doctors at this facility but not the first people who you hear from on the phone!!!!!! read more

Reviews from 2017-2020 just still as accurate for 2022. Terrible care, I had no idea the case manager was supposed to even call me???? Till I read the reviews. tried scheduling a therapy appointment now 4 times, and either lost the appointments, no calls received back, etc. etc. Psychiatric care is subpar at best. if you know what your meds are and just need a place to get them while you find somewhere else, then fine. I highly recommend this place. I have anxiety, depression and bipolar and they treat me so good here. Always smiling and greeting you. I am finally stable I am on the right medicine and my counselor has helped me so much. They really care. He calls me to check up on me to see how I am and he tells me I can call him anytime for anything. The pharmacy people are so nice as well. They will call you and tell you that your meds are ready. Recommend horizon you don't have a steady case manager or pych dr I've gone more than 2 month or more with no case managment in the last month when I finally got one i have had 3 different case managers they are not constant the Drs keep changing to this place don't care about you they just want money not to help people with mental health issues if I had another agency I could go to close to my home I would switch but due to not being able to move or transportation I'm stuck read more

I see Dr. McKenna there and she is the most kind, caring, concerned doctor I have met. Everyone there from the front desk to the MA's along with the people from the lab are also top notch. I use to see Dr. McDonald and wasn't fond of her but when she left and I met Dr. McKenna things turned around and she has been nothing but amazing at getting me to see the right doctors for everything I've been going through. She listens and acts quickly to make sure that you are receiving the best care under her watch. She is now in the Queen Creek office full time. I recommend her to any and all of my friends looking for a great doctor. read more

do not go here stay far away. worst mental health facility ive ever encountered. they provide no services, no real drs all pa. cut u off medications that work for you and then treat you like a guinnie pig testing bew meds on you. they dont give a fuck about tge patient only tge dollar. no wonder mmic pulked their contract with them. read more
