Still it's a lot healthier than that garbage that comes out of a fountain. The service here was also outstanding, I was immediately greeted, asked if I had ever been there before, I replied no, and they gave me a rundown of the menu and how it works. My food was ready before I knew it, and I set off ready to get back on my journey, but after taking a bite of the fries and the burger, I decided to stay and finish it right there because it was so good! Both were shown as part of the lunch combos. I sampled my partner's fries and they were delicious. I don't eat fries often, but this is how they should taste. She enjoyed her schnitzel burger though it did seem rather large for lunch. My sauerkraut and sausages were well presented but you definitely have to like sauerkraut because there was lots of it. Both meals were $13.95 which is very reasonable for the quality and quantity. The decor is something quite different from what we expected. It's the kind of style that takes many years of collecting to achieve. It was a little like a scene out of Harry Potter but it also had that central European feel to it. There was a fairly large patio out front where you could sit and watch the townsfolk go by. I think you could come here for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch equally well. They also serve breakfast but we didn't look at the breakfast menu. This is a destination restaurant that likely has many regulars. I'm surprised to see it in such a small community as Valleyview.
