On Sat May 16th your 55 grain 223 ammo destroyed on of my rifles at Volusia Top Gun in Daytona Beach FL. They're one of your largest customers in Central FL. They shipped my rifle to you. It was evaluated by a gentleman named Matt Ritchie. He confirmed it was your ammo that was in my gun but then refused to do the right thing and replace my gun because he fired more ammo through the gun without issue. Read that again, your employee admitted it was your ammo but refused to replace my rifle. The range manager at Volusia Top Gun was the person shooting the gun when your round fluttered down the range and blue smoke came out of every opening in my gun. The owner of Volusia Top Gun can confirm that I go through many thousands of rounds of Hornady ammo every year. I'm currently sitting on a large stockpile of your ammo. I would appreciate somebody from Hornady reaching out to me and offering to do the right thing. read more

What an incredible factory tour I had today at the Hornady Manufacturing plant. Make 5 million bullets a day everyday all year. No photos were allowed inside the shop where they make the bullets however shots were allowed of all animals they have taken over the years. It is like going into a museum but it's in a workplace. The factory tour is incredible feel like machines and machinery they have got an incredible amount of Machines working all the time. The guy was very knowledgeable she had worked here over 20 years and knew all about the place. It employs hundreds of people and is a family-owned business. A most interesting factory tour no matter where you stand on their product. It's always good to know what's going on in the world. read more

I love Hornady Ammo and have for decades. This is the first time I can say I have had an issue but now stuck with 3 boxes of ammo I cannot use. I have a Kimber MIcro 9 Talon and it will not feed the Critical Defense load from magazine when full. First round is always a failure and others down in magazine jam as well. Expensive ammo to target shoot hand fed and DEFINETELY wont be carrying in my concealed carry as planned as I cannot trust it will feed and that is not the time to find out it doesn't. ! read more

I reload a lot. In the last two weeks I have broken two decapping pin assemblies, a rock in a case and a case that laid flat on the Hornady LNL AP going into the first station. So, both times it was my fault. Both times, a day or two after leaving an e-mail message I receive a reply telling me the parts are on the way. I have been reloading for 45 years using many, many of their products during that time. There have been some issues along the way and all have been handled the same way. No questions asked, no charge, the parts are on the way. Those times that I had technical questions I called and received guidance in a friendly respectful manner which was usually followed by some small talk involving our hobbies.
