Dr. Ryan Shakely met me promptly and Jill in the front office is delightful. The first appointment was long, but it should be! I found another provider in town and after 10 min I had an adjustment and was on my way. However, how did they know whats wrong? Dr. Shakley did a thorough examination that included X-rays. Lots of questions, health history, old injuries, sports I play and how I try and find relief when things get out of whack. Then I had a full adjustment which i guess isn't typical for his practice. Most often it would be the first exam and then you come back. I felt very comfortable in his care. He has a gentle hand and talks you through what he is doing and how you need to breath. I would highly recommend Dr. Shakley.

I am normally a bit hesitant about seeing chiropractors, but decided to go for it. I was able to get an appointment the following week- they offered me several different days/times- and I completed the new patient paperwork packet found online. When I arrived, they were very friendly and organized. They processed my insurance and went over my insurance benefits with me ahead of time, which was great. Dr. Rowe was great- he spent some time examining me and explaining what was going on. After we came up with a plan, he asked me if I wanted to start treatment, and I said yes. We did some electrotherapy, stretching, and manipulation. I walked out feeling great, and he's fixed about 85-90% of the issues/pain I was having! I'm going back next week- he thought I'd need a few visits to fix it- and he gave me a few exercises to do at home in the meantime. Overall, two thumbs up!

After 20+ minutes of waiting, I let the receptionist know I had another engagement and needed to leave soon (general adjustments only take 10-15 minutes). Her response was "Well it's a doctor's office, I don't know what's with the attitude." I wasn't being disrespectful or anything, just wanted to gauge how much longer it'd be... and I've noticed her being pretty rude with other clients both times I've been there. It's a job that requires patience, I get that. But if you can't be decent to patients with back pain 20-25 minutes after a scheduled appointment you might be in the wrong field. If you're cool with a snobby young receptionist, and college drinking stories from the guy working on your spine... feel free to check the place out. Personally I think your $75 is better spent somewhere else.

I have had chronic neck and shoulder pain issues for about 25 years. I have three degenerative…read moredisks (5-6-7) in my neck and in all likelihood suffer from fibromyalgia. I normally get a message & an adjustment every two-three weeks. Because my muscles are so tight, the practitioner has to be careful when working on my neck. I find Dr. John quite smart about knowing how aggressive to be in making the adjustment. I use Shannon for my 60 minute deep tissue massage, although if I'm in a lot of pain I'll try 90 minutes if she can fit me into her schedule. She is quite adept at finding the worst areas of pain & tightness and helping me loosen up and reduce my pain levels. The office staff is really organized and friendly, and file insurance claims quickly and accurately.

Even though I have a VA prescribed Service Animal from an Internationally accepted accredited supplier, they decided that they would violate my rights under the ADA, publicly humiliate me, and refuse me treatment unless I submit to illegal questions, supply illegal information, and adhere to illegal restrictions on treatments. When I pointed out that they were acting outside of the law, instead of apologizing and moving on, they doubled, even tripled down. If I can not trust them to follow ADA, how can I trust them to follow other laws? If I can not trust them to admit an error, correct it, and move on, how can I trust them with my care? The answer is I can not.
