He gave us an enthusiastic yes. After he was done with his field work he came over to us and we all introduced ourselves and thanked him again. He told us all about the ecosystem of the pond. Mr. Fidler's knowledge of nursery, gardening, farming, fishing and all the different ecosystems really rang true that day and we definitely learned a few things. I never knew Mr. Fidler sold Christmas trees in the winter and also different trees, flowers, plants, etc. I now know where I'm going to buy my next apple tree. Mr. Fidler's kindness and generosity is unmatched by any of his competitors. This morning was off to a great start. I woke up early and on time so I could be like the early…read morebird that gets the worm. I found myself at Lowe's at the pickup spot where I normally do curbside pickup to get items for work. My order was ready the day before, so I went there roughly around 9 AM, bright and early. I ended up waiting in my car for over 30 minutes just for one person to bring my items out to my car, putting me behind schedule and late for my job that was planned ahead. Now, this is a perfect scenario to show how one person's bad habits, poor example, or laziness can affect other people--it's like a chain ripple effect. Most people today think that they don't matter or that their job isn't important, but everyone has their own role inside this universe. This person at Lowe's put me an hour behind schedule. Now, I did go ahead of time, and I always plan ahead because the 7 Ps have been instilled in me--and this was extra material I needed to keep things in stock. Let's not forget how this one person delivering items late affected not only myself and my business, but also the customer I had to meet. The moral of the story is: do your damn job, because someone is depending on you, and what you do every day does matter.
