Well sharing was NOT allowed and they told us there is one other breakfast that people are allowed to share. Downside was that's not what we liked as our breakfast so we decided not to share and got what we wanted in the first place instead. Our 6 year old daughter just wanted one half of a roll, so we thought it would be ok if she could have half a roll of the 6 we received. We asked the waitress for a plate so she wouldn't need to eat on the table. We received a big stare and 2 min later the owner showed up and told us, it is not allowed to order an extra plate and to share food. She said, it is their policy and they have their reasons and then she gave us a plate because she was kind enough to make an exception. This just blew my mind. So if you like sharing food because it might be too much or a waste or if you like to have an extra plate don't go there.

It gets very crowded at the weekend and you are recommended to call ahead for reservations. The coffee is the best I've had! But it's also very small! The baiser cakes are presented nicely and the whipped cream tastes incredibly fresh. (The cakes consist of pastry base, fruit filling, and whipped cream topped with cake.) I had the Stachelbeer Baiser. The service is absolutely top notch. The waiters are so friendly and attentive. They have a warm manner with children. There's a little play area for kids in the back of the cafe so parents get a bit of a break. The location is right in the middle of the town, and there's a lot of natural light. The front entrance table had a selection of newspapers and magazines for you to enjoy! I've heard that breakfast is good here. This cafe has a really great atmosphere. Check it out!

We also had a selection of meats and cheeses with scrambled eggs. Service was friendly and easy despite our poor German skills. We had leftover bread to take with us and bought a few pastries to go. It is busy for a late Monday morning but not too loud. Its a clean and attractive restaurant with quite a few tables.

Both menus have just enough variety, nowhere near an overwhelming variety. Service is pleasant but a little sluggish at times.
