We even had tea in the tree house which is expensive but worth doing! The food is great and the ambiance & view make it even better. When we went it was too cold to go into the pool, but it looked clean. The grounds are gorgeous and I recommend walking around and checking them out- especially the sheep in pens nearby! By some miracle when we arrived we realized we had been upgraded in the Presidential Suite. Immaculate, comfortable, it was a dream. It was the best vacation of my life and I truly enjoyed everything about it.

The setting of the pool overlooking a valley below and the moon rising above was breathtaking. The comfort and size of the rooms made leaving difficult. Yes, the taxi driver will have a small issue getting you here, since they can't drive up the very narrow alley where it's located. My stay was very comfortable and for a "single use room," roomy enough for me. The platform bed was a little firm and the shower was a little small, but I really did not spend much time in the room after sleeping fourteen hours following my travel from the States to here. This is a full service hotel with a restaurant, coffee bar, room service, fitness center and wifi that worked very well. There was even a free mobile phone for me to use in the room. (They probably should disable its wifi hotspot feature, but hey, it worked great!) The only complaint that I can offer is that my room on the fourth floor ("third floor" in European count) did not have elevator service. That may be an issue for some if you're stairs-challenged. As well, some street noise but nothing that got through my earplugs. I would absolutely stay here again when I return to Palma.

Hotel Ciutat Jardi manages to be grand, opulent, and homely all at the same time. We stayed for a…read moreweek and we felt welcomed the moment we walked through the wrought iron gate. The quietly efficient service was of consistently high standard and the staff treated us like "guests" instead of "customers." Firstly, the hotel consists of only 20 rooms, something to keep in mind when planning a holiday there. The hotel was meticulous in it's appearance and the area it's located in more residential than the touristy parts of Palma. Our sea room was well furnished wiv lots of wardrobe space, great for the girls. I just basically need a drawer, and I'm quite content. The shower in the bathroom along wiv the jucuzzi tub added some a really nice touch to our room, The rooms in general are certainly not large, their just the perfect size. . Some of the restaurants on the island are virtually on your doorstep if you don't want the bother of going into Palma constantly. You can walk to Poritxol, a very trending, upscale area, within about 15 minutes, where there's a nice selection of bars and restaurants. There's some amazing restaurants serving incredible fresh seafood, within metres of the hotel. Fusion was a restaurant the we frequented alot over our stay there. There's also a pretty cool club, wiv some wicked fun atmosphere called Forvm, which was a fun spot to hang out. I even tried me skills at DJaying, what fun that was (see foto). Although the music I was trying to mix was mostly in Spanish, so that certainly turned out quite hilariously to the locals. Hotel Ciutat provides toiletries, bath robes, and slippers, although me never leave home wivout me flip flops, although, I thought the pink or fuschia slippers were more suited for the girls. We ended up actually getting two rooms because there were seven of us. The rooms come wiv double beds, but it's kinda hard to cram more than two people in one bed, it was fun trying. The patio doors in the room lead to a small sun terrace that was furnished wiv a table and chairs. It was an absolutely wonderful spot to just kick back and chill, while looking out over the beautiful ocean views. The hotel has a beautiful garden where we were able to kick back and check out the ocean views and beaches, while relaxing on lounge chairs, and getting plastered wiv all sorts of killa drinks. The more you drink, the more beautiful everything and everybody looks :P Hotel Ciutat Jardi is about 10 minutes from the airport by car. It's nice that it was close, but the noise from the planes constantly flying over can become a wee bit of an annoyance, so jus drink more, the noise will eventually go away :D The hotel is well located for a beach holiday and within walking distance to the centre of Palma along the beach promenade. Well this obviously meant one thing, shopping. Time for the ladies to have at it, go spend money on a bunch of crap, in which will inevitably have to buy extra suitcases for, in order in bring all this shit back home. It never fails! For you shopaholics, the stores literally go on forever, so prepare to spend several days jus shopping. However, the Palma shopping district was truly amazing wiv alot of small shops and boutiques, and some really upscale, high end stores. So whatever your budget is, there's definitely something for you. Although, I didn't have a bloody clue what the budget was after seeing the dozens of bags of merchandise the girls had. Obviously, if there was a budget, they completely blew it out of the water. Well, time to buy a few more suitcases. There were frequent buses going to the centre and the hotel offered us the use of bicycles, at no additional charge, nice amenity. Obviously when in Palma, the beaches are an absolute must. The waters were warm and absolutely beautifully clean. However, during the high time, the beaches do get obviously crowded, so prepare to fight for a spot :) There's definitely alot of beachfront for all, jus have to look and find the perfect spot. Another absolute sight that must be seen is the La Catedral de Mallorca (in English, Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, or also referred to as Le Seu). What an absolute magnificent sight. This place is wicked large. It's a Gothic-Style Roman Catholic Church, truly one of the most amazing sights I've seen (see fotos). I would highly recommend Hotel Ciutat Jardi if your looking for a more relaxing, less touristy place; but still want easy access to the beach of Palma. Wonderful experience. Cheers!

Not…read moreone, but two giant claw shower heads...not to mention that there were LED colour changing lights. Party in the shower! Aside from the shower, everything else was just top notch here. From the moment that we arrived we were treated like royalty. The rooms were modern, sheik and clean. Depending on the pace you wanted to enjoy your holiday at, you could sip cocktails in the lounge or by the outdoor pool. On the other hand, you could spend a day at your spa or work on your fitness. My only complaint was to use the indoor spa facilities (which the hotel classed as the hot tub, indoor pool, sauna and steam room) were an additional €10 per person per day. It's not like it's going to break the bank, but I've never paid to use a pool and hot tub before. The spa was open from 9am until 9pm which allowed you to stroll in as you please and enjoy your relaxing sun holiday. When I go back to Mallorca, I will definitely be staying with my friends at Hotel Isla Mallorca!~

I booked this hotel through booking.com and my deal included a spa circuit at "Spai" in the price. That was well worth it. I looooved it. In the circuit there was: a Finnish sauna, Contrast shower (cold, sequential and ascending shower), heated relax lounger, Scottish shower, Turkish bath, cube shower, Bithermic shower with essential oils: ( warm and cold water, essences of lavender and orange), recreational hydromassage (pool with different options of columns of water for massage effect), Essence shower (warm water and essences of lavender and orange) among some other options. They provide you with posted signs which show you the order to use the different options in to do a traditional circuit. It was fantastic. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. The hotel is not in a particularly busy area of the city, yet it was easy enough for us to walk to all the interesting places to see. It's fairly near to Castell de Bellver. It's a gorgeous area. The breakfast buffet in the morning is well stocked and watched intently to make sure it stays that way. Choices abound, most are standard fare in a European breakfast buffet (cold cuts, croissants and pastries, cut fruit, bacon, ham, eggs with juices and coffee). I would come back here again in a heartbeat.
