It had been about 4 months since my last haircut. Which, in the world of people who pay attention to their hair, is a long long time. The only time I pay any attention to my hair is when I am crying watching it go down the drain. I have never received so many compliments after a haircut. People said I looked 10-15 years younger. Always a good thing, as I push closer and closer to ___! The staff is very nice, the music is groovy, the seating in the waiting are looks nice, but isn't that comfortable. Everyone at ticro is super polite and friendly, unlike some hip salons I've visited in the past. The stylists are incredibly patient, and truly take the time to understand what kind of cut you are asking for and to deliver the hair of your dreams. The store is in Mitte, near Hackescher Markt so it's easy to get to. When I came in I got a really really warm welcome by Friederike, my new hairstylist. At first I had to answer some question. How is my hair-structure, what do I want, what not... something like this. Then Friederike analyzed my hair. Told me about the condition and what is possible. She even made a picture of the skin on my head and explained it to me. I was really surprised because I've never had this before. After this I got my hair washed. I took a seat at the sink and was really surprised - the chair massaged my back. I got some conditioner in my hair and she combed through it for around 5 minutes. It was like "wow". I mean, if I were a cat, I would purr. I really liked it. The haircut itself was really quick and precise. She showed me everything and asked me if it's all right. At the end she showed me some products which are good for my scalp. She gave me samples, so I can try them before buying. They compile a data card of you. If you come back they know exactly what you like and need. For me it's one of the best hairdressers in town. 30 or 40 minutes there are like a little wellness trip.
