I'm still not understanding one thing. If she prepaid for her funeral service, it was supposed to be earning interest which meant as prices climbed her funeral, as she ordered or requested it should have been fully paid for, but she was informed that if she died today with the money she had paid, it would not have been enough to cover the full cost. Why not? We are looking into other avenues to make sure when the time comes, the money is available and she will have the type of going home service she wishes to have. I'd like to add, they did a wonderful job with my Father's service in 2006.

Had some time to kill the other day, and lately I've been using the Find A Grave app to find…read moreprominent people and to help others by taking photos of their family graves. There are two large sections of this cemetery, one on the east side of Olentangy, one on the west a bit farther up. The east one is older, and a bit harder to get in and out of if there's any traffic. The west one is at a stoplight, and a bit more open and grassy. There is an office at the west one but I didn't stop. Both sections are nicely arranged and well marked. Peaceful, treelined drives - a bit wider in the new section- go through various areas. Well cared for. Sobering, sometimes touching. Woody Hayes and Dave Thomas are buried here. Their website has good maps and information. Between that and the app, graves are easy to find. Worth a visit.
