We were staying at an awful nearby airport hotel (that shall remain unnamed but is in walking distance!) due to an early a.m. flight back to the States and very grumpy. The thought of eating dinner at the hotel was stomach-turning and with a quick search on google maps we found Ona Nuit. This adorable restaurant is located in what I would call an industrial neighborhood however it could easily be transported to Los Angeles and fit right in. They specialize in "Km.0" or slow food with an emphasis on local ingredients. We chose the seasonal tasting menu, everything we had was fresh and delicious! It was priced reasonably at around 30 Euro/pp. Only thing I would mention is that unless you are staying by the airport this restaurant is a trek from central Barcelona; also if you are strictly English speaking you may have some slight difficulty ordering (there is an English menu) but the staff was very gracious even with our broken Spanish! I think that I was successful in all of the items I picked and my SO was unsuccessful. Oh, please do not miss out on the warm chocolate creation with ice cream for dessert, splendid! I could hardy believe that the set price of this feast was just above 20 euros including bread, water and wine. We opted for another wine than the one included in the set menu and we were so delighted with the food, drinks and service after our dinner. The toasted fresh French bread was unreal, broth was onion and creatively flavored and not remotely salty as many FOS can be, topped off with a perfect local cheese. Ruined French Onion Soup for me until we return. Wife's Entrecote (steak) was served on a broiler heated stone, keep sizzling and cooking for 10 minutes after service. Served with a broiled tomato, peas and Shoshito type pepppers, absolute flavor perfection in local Huesca style. Unbelievably good. Fantastic bottle of Spanish red resulted in one of those meals that was just perfect. I had the chicken crochettes which were very good, had a middle eastern flavor, nice but get the soup and entrecote and you'll be thanking me later. Great environment, comfortable, casual and near a most beautiful national park for amazing hiking and views. Now, if everything above didn't sell you on this literally hidden gem, the Creme Brulee desert was the best we ever had. Crispy top with a ridiculously light, sinfully delicious without being to sugary custard. Game changer for the category. Loved Espot!!! Loved La Llupia!!! The flavor combo together is unreal. This dish sings! Whenever we're in Zaragoza we make sure to come to this restaurant and I must order this dish. I wouldn't be lying if I told you we purposely stopped in Zaragoza on a road trip just for this dish! On a one night start t we actually came for dinner and again for lunch before we had to go.
