(SIDE NOTE: This aparthotel is wonderful! Spacious, the staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, modern and housekeeping washes your dishes) The first night I had the duck and fruit flavored potatoes. I am not sure what it is called in Spanish but it was so delicious. The duck was succulent. It was baked in a dark sauce that was reminiscent of a rotisserie taste. I just hate that I didn't have more of these yummy veggies. They gave a literal table spoon of them. It was around 12 euros. The next night I ordered the Pechuga de Pollo Empanada, Patatas y Ensalada and this was very, very good. This is not the Latin American empanada. No, this is breaded chicken, solo, with french fries and a salad with a very yummy tasting vinaigrette dressing. It was only about 9 euros. It was so filling and healthy and good

They had a printing and computer kiosk outside our door. They had an interior little courtyard that we only took a glance at. They have a lovely atrium area where you can wait and a nice little bar and space to sit for breakfast, I presume. They offer valet parking or you can pack for yourself. It's very conveniently located for the best sites in Salamanca.

A beautiful luxury experience, gorgeous from the lobby to the shower. Staff have all been wonderful. The cathedrals/convents and Plaza Mayor, with all its adjoining restaurants, shops, and taverns are a short 2 min walk across the street. The hotel staff speak English if you need, and are very knowledgeable about the area.

Ever been to a hotel where they knew your name when you walked in the door and your dietary needs and handled everything with aplomb? Me, neither, until I stayed at this hotel. Some of the staff were not extremely versant in English, so if you speak Spanish you have a leg up, but that's on me. Awesome experience, highest recommendation.

Very nice hotel and excellent front desk service from Adrian…read more I needed some forms to be printed but there is no business center here- I was so grateful for his help in getting the paperwork I needed for the American embassy in Lisbon (see my post about the embassy of Lisbon for the rest of the story) Hotel is a short taxi ride from the city center or a leisurely 15 minute walk. I opted to stay in because of some embassy paperwork. Buffet breakfast for our tour group but dinners were served: decent but it is still hotel food. Free WiFi, like most hotels. Porter service, reduced waste by having bath gel and shampoo, dryer in the bathroom, also an in room safe that uses any magnetic striped card to activate.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating of my limited Spanish ability. While the rooms were not fancy or significantly updated, my room provided abundant space and a comfortable bed. It also had a great price point! They do have an elevator but it is quite small - if you have mobility needs or lots of luggage, that may be important to know. I usually took the stairs to my third floor room except when I was moving my luggage.

Airconditioning, clean and tidy rooms, big bathroom with bath and bidet. Reception people speak Spanish with three words of English and ask after an explanation of two minutes if we understand.
