Literally 3 minutes from my hotel, this was a lovely little bistro where I had my first dinner in Venice. I was kinda late in the evening, but they were happy to serve me with their delicious food. I ordered a wonderful glass of Italian Cabernet. Then I had a Chianti after that. Their pizzas looked amazing so I went with that. I chose the Parma and mushroom. Great choice, it came out steaming hot, and smelt so good. Highly recommend their pizzas. They even gave me a little chili oil to drizzle on top. The service was lovely and the manager was nice to ask me if I needed anything every time he passed me! Even gave me a nice complimentary limoncello after dinner. They had a lovely quiet atmosphere and really nice canal seating outside too. Nice local feel feel about it. Love these little finds.

Excellent service from the new administration. The new manager was very attentive. Loved the freshness of the dishes. Sardines were delicious. We enjoyed the seafood pasta and the fresh salad to finish the meal.

Cute restaurant right on a canal. Come here as it was close to my hotel. Overall the food and service were average. For dinner they don't offer any special pre fixe menu. The servers spoke selective English. Great to get to know you and when they were trying to describe the highest priced items, but limited other times. I asked what the fish soup is and the server said "fish soup in a bowl". I has to ask more about the size, type of seafood, if it was tomato based, etc. I finally Googled it to get an accurate description. Unfortunately, unlike the rest of Italy, this restaurant only offers wines priced €15+ by the glass. Everywhere else I went you could get a glass of wine from €5-6. When the bill arrived I was charged a "table fee" and €2 for a glass of tap water. Never before in my travels was I charged fees for a glass of water and to sit at a table. I was given a shot of limoncello which was nice. But judging that it was poured from a 3l bottle, something tells me it's the lowest quality you can get. Next time don't charge for a table or water and keep the limoncello. Please go elsewhere! There are other restaurants on the block next to the canal that are well rated and much busier. And other restaurants within a few blocks.

Inside the restaurant. There is also outside seating on the canal.

Cute spot on a canal in Venice. The service was spectacular. The male servers helped each other and made it fun for two ladies to dine. The veggies are spot on and the pasta, pizza and tiramisu was yummy. Great location, service and food.

I actually found this spot more exciting for their atmosphere than their food. We sat outside next to the water. The view and cool breeze made the meal taste that much better. The water actually hits your feet so if you are wary of the water touching you during your meal I would actually advise you to opt to sit inside rather than on their patio. As far as their food goes, it's not the best I ate. I gave this place a higher rating because of their view. The overall food cost is a bit pricy for the amount of food you get. The food is simple and the flavors are not at all complex. Thus, the price in euros was not worth the entirety of the meals we ordered. Please take a look at my photos and you can see the portions you receive.

Just ate here last night. The 13€ set menu had brought me into this restaurant by the canal. It ended up 15€ from cover charge or something. The set menu is ether meat or seafood, consisting of a seafood spaghetti/meat lasagna appetizer, followed by the entree of either 3-4 slices of meat or 3 pieces of cuttlefish. Lastly for dessert you get a small pudding and small fruit cup. We ordered a meat set and seafood set. When my seafood spaghetti came, I was a bit scared bc of how black it was. Be careful when you eat this dish bc I got some sauce above my lips and my husband kept laughing at the black sauce on my face. There are pieces of cuttlefish inside, masked by the black sauce. We were told that the black is due to something inside the cuttlefish. I asked it it was ink but I don't think the waitress and I were on the same page. The dishes were quite salty. My cuttlefish were grilled perfectly. The pudding was amazing, fluffy, and soft. We also get charged 3€ for a bottle of faucet water?? Not too sure what water it was. I can't give it more stars bc we saw a blonde lady cough into the salad, and my waitress actually nudged my arm for me to move so she can put my utensils on the middle of the table. That's quite rude. Also our bread basket was tiny and everyone else had a basket double our size. We were sad. Also they sat us right by the door where it was freezing. Other restaurants usually say hey this is the coldest seat in the house, let's put u somewhere the wind won't be blowing into your face. FREEEEE WIFI!!!!!!!!

After spending the evening walking around shops and markets in Venice, we were starved and ready to sit and enjoy a nice dinner. The restaurant sits right along the water, so you can opt to sit outside and soak in the view of the grand canal. My husband chose to try the meat lasagna, while I opted for the seafood lasagna - holy YUM! I'm normally not the biggest fan of lasagna, but decided I wanted to try something outside my comfort zone. And I'm so glad I did, because it was delicious. The sauce was creamy and full of flavor! We decided to end our meal with trying Italy's known and favorite desert - Tiramisu! Of course, we both devoured it. Pricing was very reasonable and the atmosphere was really cozy, which was nice seeing as how it was January and freezing outside. If your ever in Venice, check out this place!

We ended up eating here because we couldn't resist the tempting smell of their delicious food. We looked at their menu and knew we wanted our first meal in Italy to be from this place. It was an adorable shop located right by the water and in a little pathway on the street. We wanted to eat outside, but it was filled outside, so we waited for the next available table. This was the best idea ever because it was just so peaceful and delightful to eat by the crashing water and bustling street. I ordered a vegetable salad that had lots of fresh veggies and the salad was dressed perfectly. For my main entree I ordered their roasted chicken and roasted potatoes. The chicken was so moist and succulent; it was perfectly seasoned and it had a perfect crust. The potatoes were the perfect combination with the roasted chicken. My brother ordered the monk fish, which I thought was okay. It was extremely chewy (which my brother said is the texture of monkfish). Apart from the texture, the fish was seasoned perfectly. After you squeeze the lemon on the fish, It has a strong lemon taste that does not over power the fish at all. If you want fish, I would recommend the bass. It was cooked to perfections and was perfectly seasoned. We also ordered some drinks which were perfect way to enjoy our meal. I was so happy with my first dine in experience in Italy. I couldn't have asked for any more.

One of the best fish I have had here. It does take a little longer to make

We had lunch outside next to the water which was pleasant. I ordered grilled fish and my wife ordered seafood rice. Both of our dishes where amazing. The way they fillet the fish you could eat all of it. The seafood rice was super flavorful. The food did take a little longer then expected and the crowded street can be loud at times but otherwise it was a wonderful lunch

The best waiters so funny and entertaining. The food is very good and every dish is delicious and beautifully set up

Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in Venice but this unassuming restaurant is a true gem…read more It's easy to miss as it's tucked in a corner right by a bridge. Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
