My children, especially my son, LOVES Hot Dog on A Stick! It's their favorite lunch/ snack whenever we come to Pearlridge. My daughter especially loves the lemonade, and trying the different flavors they offer! They love the bench sitting right up front while they wait for their order. Sometimes service can be on the slower side, but its okay. To them, its worth the wait. There are so many colorful signs posted all over the place, showing all the different menu items and lemonade flavors, it can be overwhelming. But over all, its a cool spot. Never been to the pearlridge one before always went to the windward mall one but they are temporary closed and not affiliated with the pearlridge one...I believe this pearlridge one hasn't been here too long. Anyways this is pretty much a small food counter close to cookie corner (not a place to stay and eat) its a grab and go only. I believe it might have been possibly been the owner or maybe just a manager at the counter....he was pleasant and cool and it looks like there was only one other possible young girl worker in the back. The menu seemed the same and they had some new menu items....Of course like every place else the prices has gone up but not that much... One of my favorite places to grab lunch from at Pearlridge Center. 1) it tastes good, 2) its affordable and 3) they give a lot. I always get the Zucchini Platter and a large drink (you can get refills for a cheaper price). That is why i go there, and that is why i keep going back. Also the workers are fast and friendly. I totally love this place. For the longest time they were only at Windward Mall. It's out of the way for me, so I didn't eat at this place often. They finally opened another location at Pearldridge. It's still out of the way, but a little closer. There corn dogs are ok. What I really like is their fried fish platter and frozen cherry limeade. Their fried fish is one of the best. The batter is so crispy and the fish so moist. I dip it in the tartar sauce and it's just so good. I always have to get their frozen cherry limeade when I'm there. It's frozen lemonade with cherry and lime flavoring. You will get charged extra for the two extra syrups. Their customer service is outstanding. I always get the large drink. I noticed that there wasn't any flavored syrup on the bottom half of my frozen lemonade. I took it back and they added more syrup for me, which I appreciated. read more

On a whim I decided I wanted HDOS lemonade, because it's typically sour and lemony. Which I love. The cashier was friendly, and recommended this special they had with a small drink, fries and a hotdog It had to be the thinnest corn dog I've ever had in my life, fries were nicely seasoned and last but not least. My friend took me here while we were at Pearlridge Mall. She was surprised that I had never tried them before, seeing as they are popular on the mainland. The design and decor remind of the vintage diners or restaurants that you would see on TV. Very bright, and different colors which helps them stand out against other places near them. We got the classic beef corn dogs, which were okay. I liked that the pancake batter wasn't soft or mushy and had a bit of a crisp to the outside. I've never tried corn dogs and I was so excited to try this! It's literally a hot dog on a stick but I didn't know how it worked?? So I asked the cashier and she explained it to me. I thought the cheese options meant that there were cheese inside the hotdogs but she said no. But she recommended me something off their menu which was a hotdog with cheese. It's called "The Charlie" and it's almost $6 with tax. The cheese was more of a sauce that was spread on the corn part of the corn dogs. It was really good, though. But not worth the price. A little oily, as expected because it's deep fried. I got the beef hotdog with pepper jack cheese. Didn't disappoint. You definitely need something sweet after, though. We wanted to try the frozen drink but they ran out and would have been a 25 minute wait. Asked the worker that was there for the balance and he gave me an attitude he was irritated saying that I would have to buy something to find out. I ended up buying a lemonade just to find out what my balance was. And I asked him again what was the balance? He gave me an attitude and said that he didn't know. One of my favorite malls eateries. I have such good memories of going to these faraway malls (Pearlridge or Windward) and getting a cheese on a stick that was freshly battered and fried to perfection. They still taste just as good! Make sure you sign up for the club/app and you get birthday/anniversary rewards and points! Sometimes they even have coupons in the mall magazine. My favorite is still the pepper jack but I have never had anything bad here. The service is always great and they make it to order so it's nice and hot! My wife and I went on a Monday at closer to 2:00 and there was just one customer ahead of us. My first impression was "why are they taking so long for just one customer?" It took a long time to get to the front of the line and it left me wondering how this establishment handles the bigger crowds. Anyways, we ordered one turkey and one beef corndog with a regular sized lemonade which came out to more than $13. I ate my turkey corndog and I liked it, but my wife's beef corndog tasted much better. The beef corndog had much more flavor than the turkey one did. The lemonade was much too sweet for me is my wife drank the bulk of it. The corndogs were good but I thought they were a little pricey. I know they just opened recently, but there is no reason to serve burnt food. I have NEVER once had burnt food at the location in Windward Mall. Mistakes happen. Burnt food happens. But to try to get away with serving it to people who walk away with their food only to find out at home or seated somewhere else in the mall that it's burnt is JUST PLAIN WRONG! Terrible service.
