The place was very quite when we went, aside from our table there were probably only 2-3 other tables occupied. This is a 'peaking duck' specialist, and I must say their duck really was something. It's cooked to standard flavors (not fancy spiced variations here), and I found it to be a lot juicer and tender compared to other roast ducks I've had elsewhere. The table is given a pile of pancakes, and each individual is given their own sauce and filling. Price wise this place was a little on the dear side, I mean sure the duck's pretty good...but it's not 'thhaaattttt' good(if you get what I mean). The rest of the menu items were standard and tasty, nothing you would really go on about. I'd probably come here again just because it was a bit more up class compared to most other Asian restaurants.

The atmosphere of Trotters is pretty nice and the menu has some good options. But be warned about the service. And don't go there if you are in a rush.

The food alway surprises me at how well it is done can never fault it at all. The service matches the food fantastic. Food is well priced for what you get. Great location walking distance to train line and easy to find. The food is alway evolving yet they also keep some special items that you must try like Beef tartare which I never thought I'd ever eat raw beef but I can't get enough of this dish. They have a casual bar up stairs call Swan Street Social which also has a great menu for casual dining. Beautiful elegant restaurant without the celebrity price tag. I will be going back time after time as long as I still can get a table
