I had never taken an actual exercise class of any sort until a friend told me about Hot Yoga Escape. I decided I needed something different from my normal running/walking routine and decided to try it out. I did a 45 minute warm yoga for my first class and it was tough. I wasn't sure I liked it and only decided to do the $30 for 30 days unlimited because I wanted to try the Inferno Hot Pilates and I'm glad I did! I am a self proclaimed cardio nut and this class is right up my alley! Inferno Hot Pilates is a super intense workout and gives you an awesome calorie burn. I know my body is working hard and I'm hoping that since I've decided to extend my yoga practice, continued regular classes will help me lean out and tone certain parts of my body. It's also great for my mind and helps me feel strong and determined! All the instructors are very nice and welcoming and make sure you have a great experience every class! I think the studio is an awesome addition to Mount Vernon and I am glad I'll be continuing my practice! read more

I've been going to HYE since March of this year and I couldn't be happier with both the all the staff here, the are an AMAZING bunch of ladies! And the results I'm seeing each and every single day!! I'm always challenged in each one of my classes, but when I walk out at the end of each of those a classes I'm so proud of what I just accomplished....I'll always have something to work towards in class but I feel so so amazing when I'm done... Please at least consider giving yourself the practice of yoga... Even better you have several classes you can come be a part of! They offer several other classes such as Vinyasa ( I had to google that one) I love it! Hot Yoga Escape is an awesome spot to "breathe, sweat, and heal..." It is clean, smells inviting and relaxing, and employs fantastic yoga gurus... Since joining-at their great 30 for 30 deal- I've become a morning person, forcing myself to dedicate the 5:30 a.m. Yoga & 5 a.m. Pilates classes to myself- mind & body. As a complete beginner I didn't know what to expect. As soon as I entered the room there was this uplifting and encouraging energy. I sat out a lot the first class but was encouraged to keep trying. Every class gets better and better. I have also expanded into some of the different classes that are offered and find every class just as uplifting. Hot Yoga Escape is a beautiful space, an amazing community, and all of the instructors are full of light & love! I would recommend all of the classes: Hot Yoga, Warm Yoga, YIN, Warm Vinyasa, Hot Pilates (and even Kids Yoga) Within a month after starting classes my neck and shoulder pain went away, so much so that my next career may be with Cirque du Soleil Love that we have our own Zen paradise in Mount Vernon!
