What can I say, this is one of many low-budget hotels that service to the throngs of single travelers that come through Frankfurt for work. And they do get some things right.
The Location is either a blessing or a curse. It's practically right in front of the main train station, meaning you can always get some food or drinks anytime of the night. The downside is the rancid smell of piss and desperation, the generally unsafe feeling you get while walking there, and the roaming lunatics that like to scream obscenities all hours of the night.
The hotel itself has some nice features like free internet, a mini fridge to use (not a mini bar!), and clean bathrooms. Beds are SMALL and so are the blankets. The walls are thin and you're likely to hear someone's TV as you try to sleep. Breakfast is offered from 6:30-9:30 and is actually not bad, if a bit lacking in choice.
Altogether a middle to good quality offering from the budget hotels in Frankfurt. The reception was especially nice and there is parking available. Also from here to the convention center is only 20 minutes on foot. read more
