Everything was nicely furnished: the bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, and the room was good-sized. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and convenient to much of the city. Breakfast is served in the morning in a breakfast room (I believe outside, too, weather permitting) and consists of bread, cheese, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, and so on. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, also! There is a bit of street noise, depending on the evening, although this was not a problem for me. As with many hotels the stairs are steep and there is no lift/elevator, but again, this was no problem. All in all, a very good experience. I would definitely stay here again!

They are about just 15 minutes from the center of Nijmegen shopping district, 5 minutes from the forrest, and a couple of minutes from the boarder of Germany. My favorite part of the house was the garden and dinning area for breakfast. The host are super warm and lovely. They even provided a lovely gluten-free breakfast for me.

For who and how to spot them? No idea. The experience trying to find the hotel then park then check in has pretty much killed any desire i have to return to this town. Maybe it's okay if you are a local but this is not tourist friendly. Even the sauna room seems cool but it doesn't get hot enough. Top it off that it smelled like someone took a nice large dump in our bathroom before we arrived. Also, the bed had a nice divot in the middle that i kept rolling into.

The people at reception were really patient with my requests and questions, as well as reservation options. The castle is in the middle of a forest, making it super quiet, romantic and beautiful. I asked them to make it a special stay and they put rose petals on the bed and made us a super special surprise desert! We had a really good 3 course meal at night for dinner, which was really delicious and on schedule. They gave us the biggest deluxe suite (in the annex, 400m from the main building) which was very private and had a living room, dining area, fireplace, big bathroom and bedroom. We rented bikes at the reception and cycled around the woods and other paths! Was really amazing! The air is just so fresh... I loved it! It was all perfect! :) there is also history to the place and you can explore around the castle and go all the way to the top by stairs, the view is amazing! Don't miss it! The restaurant for lunch would be 4 starts instead of 5 fore though, but still pretty good! There was a wedding happening there and it looked very beautiful, it seems it's very popular amongst the brides :) I would go back for sure! Best anniversary I ever had.

The facilities are recently renovated and very much up to standard. The hotel has basic and executive rooms. Stayed in the executive rooms. The rooms are not too large, but OK. Great beds. Has internet and video on demand. The rooms have modern bathrooms that are really well designed. The food is of good quality and there are 2 restaurants and 1 bar on the premises.
