Love this hotel! This little place is a wonderful find. It has a retro 1960's-1970's feel. They…read moreeven use traditional room keys with giant fobs from that era. The room was clean and comfortable and unusually large for a German hotel room. It had every amenity. But what really sets this place apart was the staff. They are INCREDIBLE. From the moment we stepped into the place I felt at home. The people greeted me warmly and anticipated all my needs and questions. By the morning of the second day, the entire staff knew me by sight and called me by name. We had several special requests that came up (unplanned need for meeting room and teleconference center) and the staff jumped through hoops to accommodate us. They had great restaurant recommendations and gave perfect instructions on how to use the trains to get to Frankfurt airport. The trip could not have been easier thanks to them.

Breakfast is included with the room (European & American style foods), if you walk away still hungry-it's your fault! No air conditioning but the windows open up German style on the top & you can cool off that way. Best of all, this hotel included the use of their green "hotel" bikes to explore the many fine bike routes in the area! Close to the riverwalk area. Many radlers (bicyclists) use this spot when travelling long distances. Excellent service (English is spoken here as well as many other languages by the staff)
