From entry, the room is warm and comfortable and the bar is well stocked. The dinning room is elegant and has a great view of the harbor and the skyline. The food, served in classic French style was superb. Simple, small appetizers like duck pate was the best we had in France during our two week visit. Wonderful local fresh fish was cooked to perfection as well was the lamb. Just one wonderful meal.

The place is simple but warm, with large rooms and lots of wood. Many windows and doors have shutters to let air in in the warmer months. The room I was in had a double bed plus two bunk beds, a kitchenette, and a balcony overlooking the garden: it would've been very good for a family on holidays. I'm told some other rooms had double beds and a sofa-bed. The furnishings and decor were clean, but a bit spartan. The bathroom was small but clean and modern. The windows in all the rooms I saw were quite new and fitted tightly and securely. This meant that even if there were kids running about or in the pool outside, once you were in your room it was very quiet. I only had breakfast at the restaurant which was typical continental, with nothing too fancy. There was a large, well-kept pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. TV service was basic. There was wireless internet access only in the lobby.

Dinner was very dry, over cooked (re-heated) chicken. The hotel is in the middle of an industrial area. But the worst thing was that it was very, very cold and they told us that they shut down the heater for the whole hotel due to being offseason...what?? It was winter....what season do you use the heater for...summer? Yikes. Very bad.

Some of the staff was just very rude & breakfast could very much improve. The vending machine only takes coins no bills or credit card which is an inconvenience. To just get a simple hairdryer you must go leave an ID to use. Wi-Fi is very slow and nearly impossible to connect to. Please if you can take your business elsewhere.
