The hotel could use some revamping: there is full carpet on the floors, and the bathrooms are…read moresmall. It is hard to turn around in the showercabin! The beds are OK - if you can live with the strange Bavarian habit of separate mattresses and quilts. Breakfast is excellent and service is very efficient and friendly. One plus to mention: you can sleep with the door/window to the terrace wide open: it is absolutely quiet.
It is also a nice place to sit out on the terrace and it probably offers the best price/quality rate for food. Although primarily Bavarian, you may spot a few lighter plates on the menu (salads, omelet with 'pfifferlingen', matjes, smoked salmon). The chairs are a pain though. You will understand what I mean when you sit on them for more than 30 minutes..
