Casa Do Lagar is new, modern, and very clean. The sweet owners are very friendly, and have obvious pride in their B&B. Included in the price was breakfast served for lodgers. There is a breakfast room to eat in and also a small bar, if you want a drink. The room I stayed in was very generous for 2 people. The queen size bed was very comfy, and plenty of pillows and extra blankets are given. There is flat screen TV with basic local channels. The bathroom is wonderful - large, with a stand up shower with jets and a keypad to have music playing. While the closet is a good size, please be aware there is no iron. There is air conditioning, though keep in mind it's Europe and may not be as strong as you're used to in the US. There is also no coffee machine or mini fridge in the room, though the premises has a fully equipped kitchen so they may let you keep things here. If you are visiting northern Portugal, definitely take a look at Casa Do Lagar!
