Pool(s) and surrounding areas are second to none. Entertainment is top notch, daily poolside activities for the Kids ( and Adults ! ). Night time is good with entertainment throughout. Spa is definitely worth a try and plenty of treatments available. Salt water pool is a great experience!! We went all inclusive, which was a bonus, as we didn't original book it as that, however, on arrival we where asked if we wanted to "swap" our Balcony / SeaView room, for a standard room and be upgraded to All Inclusive for no additional cost. This was a great decision. Only negatives I would have are as follows, and maybe we just got unlucky, as overall the experience is really good!:- No A/C, just a small fan. Hot at night. All inclusive seemed to be limited with choices in terms of food and drink that you could have, the restaurant felt a bit like a "conveyer belt" wanting you in and out as soon as possible, but that was just my perception. Love the place, will come back.

This place is good for the price. We got a great deal so can't complain very much. It's not the…read morenicest place in world, but it's definitely comfortable. The pool is lovely, has a gym, and the staff are generally nice. The staff aren't overly helpful, but they're not blatantly rude, like many resort places these days. Only complaint is the food... it's pretty rotten. Wouldn't go for half-board. Maybe breakfast included, but definitely not anything else. Places to eat in Gran Canaria are so cheap that there's no reason not to go out to a proper restaurant anyway. Oh... and they charge for WIFI, which is kind of a bummer as well.

Two-star hotel posing as a 4-star. I've definitely stayed in 3-stars that are nicer than this…read more I just checked into this hotel yesterday, for a Christmas holiday with the parents. We searched online and thought we would go some place decent, and this place was given 4 stars, but I am not convinced. I am, however, already convinced that I wouldn't return here. Why? Read on... We were not given a very friendly welcome when we checked in. We also were under-provided information (I had to call the front desk at least 3 times). Don't bother making any special requests with your online reservation, because they clearly ignored ours. I still have no idea what the hours are on the beach access, and there is no hint of local information (shops, restaurants, tourist info) provided. I also was given a 'I can't tell, because the rates very' answer when I asked about using the room phone (I still don't know what the rate is). Water is not potable, and in fact we were told it is not safe. This info is not told to you, nor are there any signs to warn you. You end up having to buy a small bottle of water from the pool bar for 1.5€, or a giant bottle from the supermarket (which might not have accommodating hours) downstairs for nearly an equivalent price. The restaurant staff seemed very putt-off about having to serve us. They really seemed to push the 18€ buffet rather than letting us look at the menu to see other (cheaper) options that would require us to be served. You get charged for everything. Wi-fi is not free- costs 5€ per day, with a 'discount' for the more you purchase (20€ per week). Be warned though, the internet signal is not strong, and drops frequently. Another thing you get charged for is the safe in the room, to the tune of 27€ per week. Can't say how much they charge for TV, but there is a machine in the door that let's you charge your room-key for TV time. The room (especially the bathroom) was clearly not cleaned very well before we checked in. There was hair from the drain left in the shower, and there is quite a bit of mold in the tiles. There was also ashtray remains from perhaps the previous tenant in the trash (once again, we asked for a non-smoking room in our reservation request). I could see how this place could be very nice. They have the facilities (gym, pool, beach, restaurant, supermarket, game room, child care, internet room, etc) and family-friendly activities scheduled, however they just don't seem to have the best staff to truly make you feel like you're at a 4-star resort. After staying here even less than 24-hours, I think I would have changed my reservation and tried another place. There are many others in the area that look quite nice, or perhaps even found a local who rents out rooms.
