Excellent hotel Excellent restaurant…read more RARELY do I ever eat at a hotel but this was an exception. I was tired from traveling and did not want to get in the car to find somewhere in the dark to eat. I am so happy that I did. The food was absolutely amazing! This was one of the few strudels that I actually liked as well. There was no rush and we were able to enjoy ourselves, the food and drinks. The front desk staff (young lady) was extremely helpful and seemed to be doing the work of 5 people. When we got to our room we discovered that it was only set up for one guest and she immediately left the desk and came to assist setting it up. Quickly learned that it really does take a village to put a duvet in a duvet cover :-) The room was perfect, clean, quiet. The bathroom shower had hot water and great water pressure. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was included and was fine for us to tide us over and send us off on our journey. Thank you to the great staff and chef.

Our family--adults and children--could have stayed in the indoor and outdoor pools forever, enjoying the jets and currents and ambiance. The food was also fresh and delicious, and the breakfast was abundant. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Dinner at the Italian restaurant, Il Cavallo, was fun, with lake views and views of the horse ring! A summer visit to Chiemsee, with a stay at Gut Ising, is a wonderful getaway close to Munich.

Mine was actually pretty cold when I got in and had to ask for additional radiator. But service was super nice and forthcoming :) They have lot of activities around, sports and spa. Good place for a company offsite or family weekend escape.
