Maintenance man came up and said they can't get a new shower door or parts for it b/c they don't make it anymore.Shower stall was only 3'x3' So they knew about it and still rented room 202 out. We had other issues with the room but how can they call this a 4 star hotel. Beware of this hotel, who knows what else is in disrepair in the hotel. Also eggs, sausage and pancakes were not in a chafing dish so they got cold and weren't replaced often.

You can walk down the promenade to town but it doesn't take about 10-15 minutes. We had rooms at the end of the hall so it was quiet. The beds were still not big but much bigger than the tiny beds in some European hotels and comfortable. We did have an issue with the shower having no door so the bathroom flooded every time it was used. My friend's room did have shower door so not sure why ours didn't. The breakfast was pretty sad but the included tour dinner we had was pretty good. Since the stay was part of a tour I don't know how much the hotel costs or if there are better options.

The glass…read morejuice beakers were chipped at the pouring edge, so you weren't sure if you're getting perhaps a bit of glass in your juice. Juice was thin Kool-Aid, at least that's what it taste like. The very thin sliced salami did not have the rind taken off so my wife almost choked on it. If you have breakfast here make sure you take the rind of the salami which is not edible! Our room was very small, no English-speaking channels, no German speaking, channels no French channels, Just hundred Italian channels. This is definitely not an international hotel. Room was very stuffy, and we tried adjusting the air-conditioning which went off every five minutes. After two hours of this called reception and they told me oh yeS, will turn the air conditioner on in your room for you from here. Thanks a lot. This hotel is definitely not worth the price.
